Yet another vastly overppaid civil servant with no shame.

If anyone asked him what he had done on any particular day to earn his keep would he have been able to respond realistically and truthfully?

Callard exposed as both dim and garrulous as he dug an ever deeper hole for himself under gentle questioning.
Where do they find such useless individuals?

Okay, we're introducing a new word into the English language today, folks, the verb "fujitsu". When you fujitsu something, you screw it up so badly that the resulting damage can ruin people's lives and destroy entire sectors of industry.

    Yes Minister.
Standard Civil Service procedure to manipulate Ministers into the opinion that the bureaucracy wants.

Amazing seems to think he did a good job. He talks a good job but when it comes to the basics of looking after people he is clueless. All payment he received should be returned immediately

This man thought his job was to keep information away from Ministers. Who the hell did he think he was? Who he was was an unelected nobody who should have been passing every single piece of information to the Ministers. Your answer to Mr. Beer's question on how you verified information Post Office gave you was you NEVER did.

You just said in hours of testimony that it was because no systemic errors were found that you thought the system was working fine. Then you say you weren't hung up on systemic errors, you're contradicting yourself buddy.
