Hiya mate. In relation to your comments about the importance of taking every trade that fits your plan I thought I'd post this up, in the spirit of inspiring others in this game - "If you asked me to distill trading down to it's simplest form, I would say that it is a pattern recognition numbers game. We use market analysis to identify the patterns, define the risk, and determine when to take profits. The trade either works or it doesn't. In any case, we go on to the next trade. It's that simple, but it's certainly not easy. In fact, trading is probably the hardest thing you'll ever attempt to be successful at. That's not because it requires intellect; quite the contrary! But because the more you think you know, the less successful you'll be. Trading is hard because you have to operate in a state of not having to know, even though your analysis may turn out at times to be "perfectly" correct." - Mark Douglas - Trading in the Zone - Chapter 11 - 'Thinking like a Trader'

I backtested it on AUDUSD by entering at zero and adding a pip to stop-loss. Adding a pip saved me from couple consecutive losses and entering at zero made sure that no legal trade was missed. I noticed that AU, NU, GU had better price action than EU in recent weeks. ✌🏼
Hi Paul. I like your thought about entries. I feel that entering on the 0 point will help on trading psychology, but will negatively impact results on the long run. Having your entry on 0.25 instead of 0 increases your RR by 33.3% ( assuming no 0.5-1 pip buffer). With the buffer its still around +25% depending of the POI size. Do you miss winning entries by 0.25 25% of the time? Thats a good question and i will gather data on my own. I just want to remind you that a big part of what makes your strategy awesome is the way you put mathematical odds in our favor( having 80% BoS vs 20%ChoCh, high probability POIs, etc). Optimised enties is a part of that and its super important since the winrate is low. Its definitely worth testing though,(sorry if i rambled a bit)! Have a great evening mate!
I love it mate, thank you so much. That comment means a lot. Lots of manual errors on my own trading lately making a losing streak and wobbly confidence... then I'll hit another run of being accurate to the plan. Thanks again mate 🙌
Sorry to hear about this. As a community, its important to help you figure out why things doesn't work out when it happens. You are currently following 6 pairs: thats awesome, but its a lot of work and most of them are doing simillar things. It offers loads of opportunies, just make sure you have the time and energy to analyse them thoroughly🙂.
It's fun testing along with you. Looking forward to the next week testing as it was brutal for me. Wonder if you guys caught some good trades August 5th that week.
I'm glad it's helpful. Just thought about a mini trading game idea which I'll make a video on probably today. Should be helpful for people as well as me :)
Hi , is there a course on your discord community? I would like to join it. And what are the benefits on your discord community campare to your channel here
Hello mate. Yeah it's included. About 70 videos not on TH-cam going into more detail and around 400 group zoom calls as well around 120 traders to chat with who are all sticking to the ftr method
@Smokey4President I don't mate. They're visible on the chart without indicators. For the inside bars however I use inside bar ind- just to help me see them better

Love the fact that there is no music because sometimes it is way too loud compared to your voice.
Thank you - advice taken :)

Thank you! Defo paid attention to people saying that... as long as you don't mind background sounds from time to time happy to keep the music off

What indicator do you to spot the orderblocks?
I don't mate. Just add confluences
@@TradeForexwithPaul Hmm but your normal candles is white and blue so what are the red candles?
@markussjolund5948 ohh got you, inside bar
what are the 6 pairs tricked u and u don't wanna trade anymore?
I avoid GU at the moment... but jts back on my list. Gone back up to 15 pairs again to get more price action to fit my schedule
What is the indicator you are using for the OB's?

It's a modified Gann tool. It helps to know where is the 0.25 level of the order block.
Do you trade props?
@Lucaforex I haven't for about a year but I am looking at one or two of them lately
