@@unbiased503 In fact we are always mixing when we’re singing, which means you’re changing the place of resonance. Therefore you can place the sound more in the chest or more towards the head(the mask).
@ This is not scientifically proven in any way. Belting is part of a completely different mechanism. Even Seth Rings explains that mix voice is a colocated head voice that imitates chest in his episode with Michael Bolton.
@@unbiased503yes I’ve heard about those mechanisms. The problem is that there are some many different opinions about vocals which makes difficult to communicate.
Chest mix is completely inaccurate, chest voice is a laryngeal register whereas mix is a technique to make an acoustic effect to disguise the transition from one laryngeal register(M1 chest) to another laryngeal register m2(head )
@@celinexvocalshe’s right though, mixing and belting are completely different things, you are just comparing more or less constrained voice + different vocal modes + different density
The rasp in the chesty belts sounds so amazing
Chesty is my preference for almost every example.
You’re early !
I agree
0:42 South Korea just witnessed one of the best D5 belts in the world 😭
It is literally the best in the world
The Best Singer Ever 😍😍😘🌺💯😻❤️💯
She's a master at mixing!!
2:35 that F5 is just pure perfection
I love both style of Ms.Celine's singing voice😍

Those G5 are so clear and resonant

The rasp on that D5 was crazy !!
A new video wooow
It’s been quite a while. I’ll try to make videos more often!
2:26 This has to be Celine’s best upper belt ever❤️🔥
I felt like I heard a whistle one minute ago.
IMO chesty mix is better under E5, heady mix is perfect once gets to F5
E5!E5!🌸Special Celine 光
Great video. Although I wouldn’t say the A5 at 5:25 is heady
I made a mistake it was supposed to be written chesty
That G#5 is awesomely perfect!
STRAORDINARIA STREPITOSA ❤️
Ok lambs if you’re going to compare again Celine to Mariah. There’s some example of notes here to compare especially the G5’s :)
@@JohnDeLeon28 One of her best ones !

Everything chesty into E5 and heady everything up the F5 heady mix

Great video but "Chesty mix" doesn't exist, it's just "belting"

Chesty it’s the young Céline end Heady the old Céline
Continue de me faire rêver 😉❣️
Somerthime i don' know c'est or heady bécasse her heady is strings piercing😊
Most of the chesty examples here were more like a balanced mix except a few ones
Most of them are more chest dominant though in my opinion
Last clip? it's a man world one
3:41 where to watch?? please ☺️
Chesty is better
Chest mix is completely inaccurate, chest voice is a laryngeal register whereas mix is a technique to make an acoustic effect to disguise the transition from one laryngeal register(M1 chest) to another laryngeal register m2(head )
Most of these are just fuller vs lighter belts. Only a few of the higher notes like F5 and up are mixed.
I have to disagree because in facts mixing happens very early in the range (most of the time around Eb5 for soprano)
@@celinexvocalshe’s right though, mixing and belting are completely different things, you are just comparing more or less constrained voice + different vocal modes + different density
Literally half the 'heady' notes aren't even a mix but modal voice with no or little metal. Very inconsistent labelling. Moreover 'chesty mix'..?
what do you call modal voice
@@dededejereme2284 M1 mechanism is modal voice.

How do you know when it's head or chest? To me it sounds the same
It's something you hear in the placement and sound that you have to train yourself to listen to
