    Thanks for the video. All my bulbs were late this year. Still waiting for the dutch iris bulbs to arrive here in northeastern PA. (The last 500 tulips are on the UPS delivery truck today.) These will all go in the wood-sided beds that I've adopted, laid on the bare (but starting to freeze) soil and covered with a deep layer of mushroom compost. Happy growing.

    Really enjoy your videos. I checked your Amazon store but did not see the dibbler you used. Can you point me to a source? Really like the size of the one you used. Thanks

      Tony made it. A small shovel handle, honed to a point with a PVC pipe handle.

    How many years' of bloom do you get from your Dutch Iris? I know that many growers replant annually, but is that necessary?

      It really depends on whether the variety perenialises, this could be due to varietal weakness like in non-botanical tulips. Optimal conditions allow the bulbs to multiply and naturalise. Oftentimes, in the northernmost of its hardiness the Dutch iris can often weaken and die. Hope this helps!
