May be because the animation is done through puppets instead of hand drawn. And while season season 5 to season 7 are puppets as well, the quality and expressiveness is going to relay on the quality of the puppets. (And considering that season 5 to 7 puppets were already questionable with plenty mistakes, one can only guess what happened to the new season 8 puppets).
I don't want to sound like typical "season 8 enchantix bad" BUT the storyboard version feels more alive. I don't want ANY old transformations to be back, though Season 8 Sirenix IS AMAZING (except whitewashing Flora and Aisha) and outfits and Tecna's Sirenix hair are waay better than in S5 Sirenix.
the final quality made them look like dolls, and the head tilt in some of the transformation made the look creppy for example : in crystal sirenix, aisha tilted her head and it was disturbing
But Season 8 Sirenix was amazing and it looks like a REAL ancient sea power. Plus Tecna's Sirenix S8 hair... the WHOLE Sirenix arc should've been the whole season but instead we have Icy's very stupid redemption arc and Enchantix comeback having no purpose
The story board even has details missing in the final product : bloom: slightly different hair style, heart at the top of her shoes, dress more flowery. Musa:the hair ties, simpler crown, larger and more detailed wings. Techna: more detailed wings . Flora : shaped based earrings , diamonds on her crown, detail on her shoes, details on her gloves, more detailed wings, petal in the middle of her chest. Ashia : detailed wing, much longer hair. Stella, side clips on her hair, star opening on her chest , details on her shoes, different ties on her back of her top , no eyeshadow , skirt layers different, longer hair and more detailed wings
Where were their fairy dust bottles? Why so much pink and purple? The only thing I liked about these transformations was Techna having bottom wings that were missing from her original enchantix.
@@nfsiiihp The fairy dust bottles contained magic dust that helped the Winx break evil spells. That was the important part to enchantix along with shrinking.
@@CrazyAlienLady051 As if I didn't watch Season 3 and know it, I'm pissed that people treat me like a newbie JUST because I despise some things from Pre-Season4 era🤬*sigh* Even back Season 3 was new, I always disliked how Fairy Dust was a Deus Ex Machina which solves literally ANYTHING, even though I loved that scene where Fairy Dust makes Aisha see again.
I personally don't mind. Meanwhile i feel like that the original enchantix song barely had any breaks from the lyrics. I feel like the OG enchantix song tried way too hard to be epic.

That's what I was thinking! It looks like a whole different show! I wish they had kept this art-style, the Winx look more mature.

Is sad how Aisha have the same animation of Bloom, literally they put Bloom in some scenes in Aisha

All they need are just some bigger lips and then boom! Instantly better than the final product

The new designs were probably made solely for the merchandise aka THE dolls. Tecna's new enchantix kinda disappointed me tbh.

and the storyboard artstyle (idk how to say it) looks WAY better than the season 8, so i really wish that they used that one.

The storyboards look better because this was made by hand. The final product was rigged animation which didn't allow for much animating, really
