Come on man, he is not overhated. He just sucks. He has to be on the field and he is like the worst dmg dealer of his faction. He offers no real utility and his lord skill isnt even better than Torodor that doesnt even need to be on the field.
@aldrich_leon8547 not Ingrid lvl i think but his lord skill should be better than Torodor or maybe increase his damage by some %. Also he could be NM lord alongside a Choatic unit for Valdaron. That would made him way more valueable.
Yeah hes elder level, even his lord skill is worse, but wheb not on the field is the memest one in the game. I can see many olaces where you would use him over toredor when given the option

Hey @Destined_WoR The problem is Hollow and the heal rage regen I believe. Because Rygar steels healing and lowers the total number of ults, because Hollow passive activates less. Use elowyn for more accurate testing.
I can understand why A3 might make e.g. Arrogance do less damage, if you autocast and their ults sync up less well over the course of 5 mins. Also it could mean his ult mismatches with the GB shield, so the others put more damage into shield, which doesn't add to the stats. For A1 his earthquake animation means his def reduction would be less frequent.
Heya, Torrodor Lord skill says "extra hit". I *don't believe* it gives an extra attack, I believe it gives an additional instance of 100% dmg. I also don't think it gives extra rage. Hattsut either does 60% 60% or 60% 60% 100%. Arrogance either does 120% or 120% 100% Lust either does 100% 100% or 100% 100% 100%. Changes to damage don't apply, but damage modifiers do, so... Arrogance ult changes his basic attack, so either does 380% or 380% 100%. Lust ult modifiers by +40%, so either does 140% x4 or 140% x5.
Yuri is such a sad hero.. like she inflicts def reduction but Piercer don't need it because hex and silas don't need it and Nightmare don't need it because Toro and Rygar do it.. Toro at least you can say well he's not gonna be deployed but that's only true in content where def break isn't that good and Rygar doesn't buff her ult, now Toro help her get 100% uptime on that def break outside of her ult but barely help her to get the ult faster.. also the ult in itself doesn't activate talent so her ult is literally just a bit of dps with a 100% def break during the duration and only starts to become something crazy with A1 and A3.. also she can still get to that 1s basic atk interval and get that 100% ish def break without a nightmare lord and iovar/aracha would have the benefit of giving her an insane dmg boost that nightmare doesn't give her.. feels bad to have a unit like that.. she's not a true nightmare marksman, she's just a silly piercer marksman that is overtuned enough to be used in a faction that ignores most of her kit.. I hate that design philosophy.. at least I suppose new players who gets her will be happy

The inconsistency could be due to rygar only giving +damage to others during his ult, maybe there was a different order of ults one of the times, I don't know it seems unlikely but putting out there in case it helps
Rygar was put in the wrong faction. His aesthetics scream Chaotic and Northerner. I think the same about Jeera. She doesn't look like a Northerner. She should be in Infernal. I'll pass on this. I already have allot of Nightmare Faction members that are very good. I need to add more of the Infernal Faction to my Roster; Orim, Solcadens and TwinFiend. And I need Cyrus and Trusk for Esotericist Faction Trials.
Im wondering if making him a utility hero and going full on atk spd and rage regen would be the way to go to try and keep his ult constantly rotating. And does healing effect affect the heals he provides? Cuz that would be goated ya?
Thinking Ragar will give allies 3% lifesteal with basic attack in ultimate, Yuri will heal 2 allies by 10% from her bondskill. Kigiri will get hp from his bondskill. Will there be hard conent coming that need alot of Dps and survivability. Monthly Tower? Real time arena? GB1 NM5?
I think that the inconsistency in the GB1 testing has to do with ult timings beyond the typical RNG factors. Doing the test in a standard Hollow + Laurel comp maximizing rage and thus ult up times should reduce the RNG factors to a minimum. Also Rygar is a terrible cycle unit as you need him to remain on the field for his lord bonus to take effect, as he can't ult when he's not on the field. By the way your GB1 test completely missed the mark in terms of deciding who is better, Ryger or Torodor, as using Torodor means you don't have to bring Ryger but can instead bring Wukong, Twyla and Arrogance for example as your 3 fighters. So than you need to compare how Rygar(with Torodor as the lord) compares to the worst of those 3 to see whether he's genuinely better than Torodor for GB1 or not. It's all about the opportunity cost. Similarly for GB2 since you built Ryger as a tank, did you try building Torodor for damage and than compare them? Similarly Yuri actually benefits very little from Torodor because she doesn't attack while ulting, thus negating the whole 30% chance of double attacking. If you were to use Twyla, Kigiri, even Lust, instead of her than Torodor would have done significantly better. For single target arena you completely ignored tempo, which is incredibly important. Since Ryger is your worst DPS hero he's the last one you're placing, which means his lord skill's up time is the lowest. Torodor's lord skill comes into play immediately, which in turn means Wukong and Salazar(and a 3rd DPS instead of Cyrene if you go that route, which is arguably stronger btw) get to ult more often and that's the most important thing in single target arena. Even though Torodor himself contributes less damage than Ryger, that only really comes into play by round 4-5(with Cyrene) or 6(without) and even when it does it's still less rage thus less ults than with Torodor.

Could the difference on GB1 be Rygars uptime on his defence decrease? Also for GB2 assuming you run a tanky Rygar so you can have an attack constance in both teams if that defence decrease uptime isnt sufficient you may need to run a yuri/volka/lust to try and suplement that, the question is running those 2 better than running a torodor and a kigiri/twyla? Answer is probably slightly better with Rygar but still.
I haven't watched the video yet, but my initial impression is that his Lord skill is WAY worse than Torodor's. 25% more damage only when the Lord is ulting, is no where near as good as 30% chance for a full 100% damage auto attack, that is always on (even when Torodor isn't on the field), and those extra auto attacks can trigger all the usual stuff that auto attacks do for those heroes, like apply buffs/debuffs, trigger additional damage abilities (like Wukong clones,) etc. And if you do place Torodor in the fight, he's bringing a dependable defense down, not a chance at triggering a chance lmfao. The new Lord's can't keep up with that and will need to hit like Valderon or harder to be worth using over a Torodor, imo. Now let me watch your video and see if I am right or wrong lol.
If you auto-ult like you did in the GB1 tests, doesn't Dolores random rage boost cause inconsistencies? Is that why you were seeing some runs with boosted damage?

All I cared about was the GvG part and man sorry but that was really a waste of time to watch. You werent trying, didnt really care, sent 2 lightning guards into Yuri and Ajax and went ‘woaaaaa’ when they got melted… I know you were tired, I just hope for good GvG testing in the future
He is as good or better than the best non-ancient exclusive lord in the game(Torodor). How is Elddr even compare to him? Right now he is probably tied with Torodor for 5th/6th best behind big 3, Cyrus, and maybe Iovar depending on who you ask. Elddr is probably in the bottom 3 with Venoma and Hartz. I think after waiting for so long that people are just disappointed he is not on Pope, Ingrid, or Valderon level, but to say that he is Elddr 2.0 is just a bit extreme. He is good or even great. He just isn't broken, and that might be a good thing for the game. I would hate to see every new hero topping the last one.

FFS Moonton. Make his hammer/atk attacks alternate and make stun chance 50% and def down chance 100% and you have a 2025 lord. 🤬🤬🤬🤬
