Thank you. Geez oh man, where have you been? I just watched a video, and fekk asleeo and still fidnt kniw how to charge this damn battery. Found you, and 20 mins later my battery is charging. Thank you, kind sir.
Nice one. I had completely overlooked the several power supplies I kept from my obsolete laptops but one of these could be just the thing I need to save buying/building a new charger. Many thanks for posting. 👍
That’s how I charge mine. I use my drill batteries to power my flounder light when I go flounder gigging. All of them have got wet and stopped working with the charger because it uses the battery check BS. This method works every time.
Thanks man I appreciate the simple and sweet I looked up hoe to do it and literally like you said it woukd have required me to go out and buy a bunch of items to charge the battery so thank you
Omg...THANK YOU SO MUCH.not for just the how-to on hack charging drill battery no but going straight to it without the Schindler list story that most seem to have the need to do. So a big HELL YES THANK YOU.
John appreciate it... I just picked up 8 like new vanon Milwaukee batteries (knock offs) . Problem is they're completely drained and charger won't recognize them.. will a laptop charger revive them?
Nice video straight to the point, But I have a question, I have the charger for my cordless battery(which doesn’t work) can I hook up the laptop charger to the original charger? ie take motherboard out and just hook up positive and negative wires, then just slide battery on the original charging dock? Keep the oem charger just being powered up by the laptop charger.
Seems like charging with too many amps could cause a fire. Also you shouldn't charge a cell if it ever went below a threshold voltage. It can catch fire. They can also catch fire if supply voltage is too high (although the laptop power supply might help with this if it doesn't supply over voltage).
I got a similar idea, but I am far from being an electrician. Glad my idea is confirmed. And in no time. I gave you good fat like, man. I'll use the drill charger to charger mower battery.
If you are going to attempt this, do it outside. Also use a long extension and be far away from the battery when you switch it on. It may explode. Just put some distance between you and the battery.
If you shot the video in landscape and not portrait mode, we would see 60% more than you filmed. Also, please use a tripod or some other device to steady the video. It will stop people getting seasick watching.
Ditto-I have a 40 volt 7.5 mah max Battery, no charger. Will this method work, and do I have to locate a 38-40 volt laptop charging cord [if such a cord exists]....
Don't do this lithium ion can explode, the problem with charging like this is you have 3 positive terminals all with different voltage, these are to stabilise the load. Too much voltage and boom 💥
The tool companies always round up. So any battery capable of holding 19.01 volts is marketed as a 20 Volt battery. The smaller battery lineups will show you like 11.89V to 11.15V on a digital multimeter when their brand new and they are considered 12Volts. But as far as the chargers go... if u checked all the receptacles in your room with a multimeter, they will all hit different but typically between like 108volts and 125 volts. Since that's what is feeding the charger, the charger and batt would need some tolerance for voltage drop. 🤷♂️ but m sure u already knew some if not all of this goofey shit. 😂 Sorry about the book bro, I'm an electrician that got hurt on a job site. I been outta work for a while and I guess I miss jaw jacking electrical jargon with the boys 🙆🏼♂️ 😂⚡💡⚡🤣
I tried this with my M12 battery, I couldn't see if it says which one is negative or positive on the battery.. well it started to smoke or something a little bit, so I stopped! I realize I must be retarded! What did I do wrong??
Well if you used a laptop charger like this idiot did, then you sent 19.5v to a 12v lithium battery pack. The only reason this idiot hasn't burn his place down doing this is due to the BMS built into the 20v lithium battery pack. I am not sure if your M12's have a bms in them or not. But the smoke is from hooking it up backwards or putting to much voltage to it. If the batteries haven't caught fire already then it most likely has a bms in it and you killed the bms.. hard to say what condition the batteries are in now.
praise our LORD 🩸 thank you for being our savior jesus Christ praise our LORD 🩸 thank you for being our savior jesus Christ praise our LORD 🩸 thank you for being our savior jesus Christ praise our LORD 🩸 thank you for being our savior jesus Christ
I appreciate skipping all the BS and getting to what i been needing all along. Thanks man!

A 1 brother. saw several videos about this on here that were 20min +
Your short and to the point
Good one mate, every other site U needed some type of ohms or something. Yours was straight forward..Thanks 🇦🇺
Awesome job!! Str8 2 da point and dun! I can't thank you enough bro!!!
thank you i just enherited my grandpas skil cordless drill but the charger was busted this will help a lot
Thank you for explaining that in less than 30 minutes. Seriously

Thank you so much, It’s been over a year since Iv been able to use my drill. 👍🏾
Thank u for making that simple the other videos where a bunch of nonsense
Yeah you did got straight to the point thanks lol
You are awesome!!

Good man.
I have 3 of the same battery it really helped
You are amazing.
Thanks. Can I use any adapter that is 19 or 20volts apart from laptop charger?
I got a similar idea, but I am far from being an electrician. Glad my idea is confirmed. And in no time. I gave you good fat like, man. I'll use the drill charger to charger mower battery.
What does it read on my multi meter as 19.6$ volts but won’t charge my battery when attached?
Good man
Hello,
I try this now me house is burned down. Can you make video of building new home how to? Thanks you!
Thank you kindly good sir, meat and potatoes no fuss.
I am totally newbie, it is not important the Ah output from charger? The important value is just the volts?
What voltage laptop chargers are ok to use on an 18v L ion battery ?
check the charger block it tells you how much voltage it outputs
Anything within a volt or two...17 , 18, ,19
tried it but it didn't work...must have something to do with the multiple connections?
Very knowledgeable but you give me vertigo with the shaky camera work my friend lol

Yeah when I looked up how to charge my battery I wanted a safe method not this rigged up method that someone really has no idea whats going on
🙏

One word buddy “TARD”
I have a blue wire where does it go
Your computer cord is black. How do you wind up with a white cord and a black cord? Did you split the computer cord? I’m really new at this.
Yes you cut the end off and attach new wire or use the pre existing
Why was it attached to th3 drill also
Why was the white wire connected to the drill and the battery
Could I use the same method by taking two wire's from a 19.5 v cordless tool charger to charge my 20 v impact wrench battery.? TIA.
Yes
Easy peasy! Put alligator clips on both wires. Push dimes into the two slots and clip on! Done deal.
Easy peasy. Ur a patriot Saint of ADHD
What about a 40 volt battery?
Ditto-I have a 40 volt 7.5 mah max Battery, no charger. Will this method work, and do I have to locate a 38-40 volt laptop charging cord [if such a cord exists]....

Oh wonderfull so im going to be charging my 18 volt battery with 230volts amazing
feel dizzy now
Kept ll me from buying a charger
My power supply have 3 pin green black white
How long do you let it sit and charge?
Right I wanna know this
Yeah 19volts is gonna magically charge a 20v 😂
It absolutely will

You can't charge cordless drill batteries as it has bms inside the pack that is why it has three or four terminals
@Sync Jed
Hell yeah. Tell his ass!! I almost scrapped this whole thing based on his comment! Thanks😂
That won't work on Ridgid Li ion battery packs!
Thank u for no sermons. Wish everybody just went straight to the point

Excellent…

you shorted it retard
@@francescocerioni8939 actually, I didn't retard! I just stopped being a cheap ass and bought a charger and the battery is just fine.

a good idea but poorly demonstrated. camera moves too much.
