Welcome back to my channel! I took a little break after Vlogmas, but now we're back with my first video of 2021: my first BIG CHOP! Edit: had to come back here. No regrets. My hair is already five inches long. It was about two inches when I cut it, I don’t expect crazy growth. And yes I’m measuring 🙈. I’m about to have my second trim since it’s been four months now. So now I know I don’t have a problem with growth but I need help with moisture. My hair is very dry even after deep conditioning. I’m going to try the max hydration method.

I'm about to big chop my hair in the next few days! Not because its damaged, its healthy as can be. But I want to start a new self love/self growth journey and find myself again so starting with my hair. And that's the length I'm going for!

This was hard to watch but inspiring. I’m losing my hair to alopecia but I see some growth coming so once they fill in I’m going to cut the rest of my long hair so that it will grow at the same length. I’m nervous but have no choice. I’ve never had short hair.
I’m so sorry to hear that! 🥺 I want to assure you that there’s nothing to be nervous about!! You see how nervous I was at the start but this was the best decision I’ve ever made when it comes to my hair. I feel so good and it felt so liberating 😍🙏🏾 I hope you will do the big chop and it will make you feel better ❤️
I have alopecia as well. Honestly you don't have to cut your hair to even it out. I've had it for years. Just let the hair grow, once the bald spots fill in you wont notice them. Good luck love.
yes same here. it really helps when you get a tapered short hair do, seems fresh and healthy. i camouflage the thinning bald spot at front of my head with curls going over. All the best with your hair. x

I cut my hair for the same reason. My hair use to be thick and full but I guess it’s because of the products I was using it became soooo thin. You’ll enjoy the journey

@@LilianTseggai I would suggest the both of you to use biotin supplements, and also look up @vachtiofficial on IG they have Haitian castor oil that can help with this issue.
Girl I remember years ago when I relaxed my hair it was thin. I did a semi big chop in 2008 . I talked about hair growth in a video today.

Ive had the same exact experience as you with the damage and breakage. Im doing my big chop for the first time next week and Im so excited but nervous for how Ill look, but I want my hair to be healthy and full again like it used to be!!

You look beautiful sissy I’m 21 I just did my big chop July 5th 2021 & I love it 🥰 my hair was so damaged and nape neck length it was brittle dry a lot was done it was dyed I had locs my hair broke off with my locs thinned out it was bad I combed my locs out a couples months ago after being 1 year I used to pull my hair my crown broke off & my hair was broke in the middle then last year in January my mom died fast forward then I got a silk press which was damaged cause of my hair then now I did my big chop 🥳❤️💪🏽🤪watch how fast our hair grows back all I do is oil grease it & wrap it up I scalp massage also it’s the best I’ve ever felt NOW IM JUST WAITING TO GROW MY 80s AFRO BACK OUT 🤓🥳💃🏽I just gotta shape my crown up & even it out now so it can grow in even but you go sis it’s an amazing feeling I cried laughed & smiled all at once
