Excision & Subvert - Rude Symphony for me. It was a cut from his 2010 Shambhala mix and it completely blew me away. I instantly had to track down everything else he'd made, and I got totally hooked. I miss this sound.
Man I forgot about this track ! I was searching through the London Grit kit on my Maschine ; was like “yo this sounds crazy!” , looked up in my iTunes library, and I had this song purchased 10 years ago . Like how did I forget ??
Can I just say how happy I am to be alive and young enough to enjoy the evolution of dubstep. Thank you bass gods! Thank you for jungle, thank you for drum n bass, and thank you for dubstep.
I can still remember the guy with the black bennie dancing to this song, the camera shake and the comments saying that he just robbed the place and this was the victory dance. This was my introduction to dubstep, this guy. Ah the memories...
Protip: Turn play speed down to 0.75x. Don't worry about your subwoofer's coils coming out of the pole piece, that just means you're having a good time.
people say you need to be sooooo high to enjoy this stuff... this has been my favorite genre of music for a long time... and i dont blaze up to listen to it.
Lulz at the monologue in the description. You were dancing like a wild man because the drugs kicked in, and you were like.. "OMG, THIS SONG." So you went home and found it, and looped it then put it on TH-cam for the masses to enjoy. WE GET IT. Talk about spaz. x] IGHT?! I'm kidding. I love you for uploading this.
Oh thanks... I've heard Benga before but I'm new to dubstep, my friend recommended it and now I'm hooked! I just heard Custard Chucker and I really liked it!
haha, love the annotation. DnB has always had that same wobble feel, it's just fast and not cut time. Same stuff, just Dubstep slowed it down and cut the time in half.
@FacelessEmotions I wish more people would just like what they like instead of being obsessed with only liking music because it is/isn't mainstream. Listen to whatever makes your ears happy. God Damn!
Really wish there was more variety in this song. Dubstep still has yet to prove itself to be of being worthy of my tastes over drum 'n' bass and related genres.
Not always. bass boost can mean several things. one is adding decibels to a certain frequency and also adding a bass line if there really isn't one (or even making a bass line from a really low bass line that doesn't hit hard at all)
@TheBassfishinboy Nice man, i only have that one cvx with a True 1000watt Rockfordfosgate amp... when i get back from this deployment i think ima go a lil bit over bard and buy me two 15' w7 's... know i only need 1 of em but hey, go big or go home just like in the gym right haha
@mrmanosteele1 Picture isn't moving but it is so compressed that you can see the pixel sometimes and it kind of makes you think that the picture is moving
Heard this track in an Amon tobin Halloween set at echo lex 2010 and it absolutely destroyed the audience , I tried pulling out phone to record audio and track changed. FML. Looked for the track for the following week w no luck. Saw the dancer vid to this song = thaaaannkkk hooping jeeeeessuus!!!!! The track owns
@Linnehan13 yea im really into dubstep...but i still find it hard to actually listen to a single song all the way through without changing hahaha... it still has to develop
Rainilaiarivony (30 January 1828 - 17 July 1896) was the Prime Minister of Madagascar from 1864 to 1895, succeeding his older brother Rainivoninahitriniony who had held the post for thirteen years. His career path mirrored that of his father Rainiharo, a renowned military man who became Prime Minister during the reign of Queen Ranavalona I.
actually it IS a distorted signal if they are increasing the db of that frequency. a "low bass like that doesnt hit hard at all" means the equipment you are using to reproduce that frequency isnt tuned low enough to reproduce it. if u have a subwoofer box tuned to 24 hz its gonna hit the low notes crazy loud and clear as apposed to a box that is tuned to 40hz- where when you hit a frequency around 20hz, its going to sound quiet and unclear
I think this was the very first Excision tune I heard. MEMORIES
The Dub Rebellion Hell yeah.
Excision & Subvert - Rude Symphony for me. It was a cut from his 2010 Shambhala mix and it completely blew me away. I instantly had to track down everything else he'd made, and I got totally hooked. I miss this sound.
shambhala 2008 is best dubstep mix ever (in my opinion :) )
Yessss, happy to see the rebellion himself still jamming to the classics
Started a new project called Don't Kill it, It's like ultrablack on steroids.
Being a freshmen in college, this was my first exposure to Dubstep. So many memories..

Wish they still made music like this
right
there are awesome artists out there that yet make that kind of music, just search for it
How does one search for music like this? "Dubstep" hardly works as a search term for things like this any more.
Things really changed now
Gotta make it yourself these days :'(
two 15's on 3,000 watts highs and mids on 1200 watts dam I love this best song!! great job!
Lmao no joke ey this is the same kind of setup I had and this song was THE preferred banger
Excision went from making awesome tunes like this to a treble nightmare in later years.. :(
0:45 Is exactly what I expect from an Excision classic.
I beat you
Protip: Turn play speed down to 0.75x. Don't worry about your subwoofer's coils coming out of the pole piece, that just means you're having a good time.
One of the greatest ups that got us into dubstep

@SpikesAllOver36 that's just the sound of the bass it's SO dirty it makes my brain overload xD
there are reasons why some dubstep videos are only in 240p quality. this bassline and drop are some of them ^^
the men of the sea just began to surge irrepressibly out of my eye
Really wish there was more variety in this song. Dubstep still has yet to prove itself to be of being worthy of my tastes over drum 'n' bass and related genres.
I just legit blew my headphones........no joke.
The Bass Just Fixed My Rubix Cube Now That's Skill

@mrmanosteele1 Picture isn't moving but it is so compressed that you can see the pixel sometimes and it kind of makes you think that the picture is moving

Listening to this with JVC XX Headphones on, I'm in 'Bass Heaven'. :D
Fortunately for the poster of this video I like both styles of music.
@OfficialHekTika The original track was extracted from existence by means of Excision and when it was put back, it sounded like this.
Haven't listened nothing similar to this madness!
