Recently began my journey through the Souls series two months ago with DS1 being the second game I played, and I unironically think Giantdad might be my favorite build in any RPG ever. Waiting until that 66 endurance to start PvP, but it’s surprisingly just as powerful with PvE. I get a sense of euphoria whenever I mow through fields of enemies, watching them go up in flames. Sadly, I don’t have the DLC, so I can’t get *double Black Flame.* However, the experience is still just as enjoyable. Ever since I educated myself on the ways of Giantdad, I’ve never felt worse leveling Dexterity up in a different Souls game. Playing Giantdad changes a man. 10/10. Just so I don’t get brutally murdered by a part of the Souls community who want people to experience the game the “right way”, I did not play Giantdad the whole game. I waited until very late-game to use the build’s equipment.
@@door9520 if you have the remaster the dlc is free, also the build dosent mind much when comes to pvp couse is all backstabs, also Giant Dad is a build for spam r1 and requires no more skill than that, thats why in pvp gets rekt anyway, couse meta pvp is about the skill to avoid and deal backstabs and take adventage. And the Zwei slash are to easy to avoid, backstab or parry if you merely now what you are doing, thats why giant dads have a lot of problems in meta, couse think the build will do everything. I recomend you sl 86 in oolacile to learn to use it, but go for backstab (Wasp ring is op if you have 41 end and cant fast roll) Also the black flame is not so important couse if you merely know how to play gona try something else instead of only spaming r1. And pls in meta dont try to spam r1 whit zwei or drop r2 couse gona be brutaly pawned and gona get rekt.
