"Yes, Mord, I can see that."
I need that on a Tee-Shirt! 🤣
Your plotlines create stories a million times more engaging than anything on TV. Thank you for this series.
He did do that crime he was some degree of orchestra and it was criminal to orc.
Episode 2 had me as much on the edge of my seat as the first. You have a very “robin williams energy”. It’s both fresh with a tinge of nostalgia.
I definitely agree with the Robin Williams vibe.
That's kind of what I was thinking too. I need a sedative after watching each episode...
This man's energy is mad infectious
6:40 ...and thus Arn Kalapunki came into existence. I love this series. If you're here for the first time, continue watching through the end of the season. It'll be worth it.
That's exactly what I was after. I started with season 2 because I like Ironsworn, and now I am going to find out how it started and how it finishes? (not sure what season 3 focuses on).

Everytime he uses arn’s voice I just think “have you been to the cloud district”
OMG! As a avid season 2 fan (because of Ironsworn) I can't believe this is our beloved Arne's beginnings. Can you believe he would go from hunting a Orc cavorting Simon to Dragon Hunter Hero and Bane to so many.
I love this. This may be as good as anything I’ve seen on the Tube.
That's a pretty big compliment, thanks!
I second that
@@nrais76 seeing no nays, motion carried.
Trevor, this series is awesome and inspiring. I know it takes a lot of work (filming, editing, putting in the effort "play out" all the scenes). It pays off though because the entertainment quality is amazing.
16:40 absolute legend!
Oh my God. I was captivated the whole time! I didn't think it was possible for a solo campaign to be this good, but I was pleasantly surprised and glad to be proven very wrong!
Soooo why has this guy never been invited onto Critical Role? He seems to be friendly with Matt Mercer looking at Twitter posts and Instagram pictures and is clearly a talented voice actor with knowledge of roleplaying... I think he would make an amazing guest star! Love this channel!
Not only do I like the idea of solo RPGing but the way you are acting out the scenery for us is wonderful, funny and entertaining. (=
Discovering this shed a light into my covid quarantine routine 😀
I came back to see how Arn started out. I had forgotten that his face was scarred and that he also had warts all over his face. His voice, however, is the same. Good old Arn.
As someone who just finished watching Season 2 and have now come back to see Simon’s story I’m loving Arn’s Introduction!! 🙌✨
I have been subscribed to your channel for a while now, but I just now have the chance to check this series. A single player TRPG is super fascinating and after 2 episodes I am invested into this Simon's Quest (I wonder how many catch that reference). Looking forward to watch all of the seasons!
What a fantastic example of storytelling, I think I can learn so much from this series. Just great all around
I started watching at season 2 for the Ironsworn and then moved into season 1 because I was hooked. When I heard "Kalapunki," the Metal Gear alert (!) sound went off in my head. What a cool and unexpected twist. Can't wait to see where this goes...
You, my friend, are a great entertainer. You have inspired me to dig out my Mythic books and give them another chance. You had my curiosity, but now you have my full attention, respect and subscription. I want to follow Simon’s tale to the end. Keep up the awesome work!
These videos are exactly the reason I've been studying English for twenty-four years! And I've just known that!
Thanks Trevor, for your excellent use of the voice, your expertise in acting and this amazing show that is your Solo campaign!
🇧🇷
came to episode 2 simply because I was thoroughly invested after Vilborg's death. really thought he was gonna live longer lol
As someone who recently started playing solo RPG, this is a treasure. Loving it so much
Simon sounds like Ser Jorah Mormont and Arn sounds like Tormund Giantsbane.
I like it.
Just started watching today.
This dude is insane.
And I am here for it!
Masterful storytelling and improv.
I think this is my 5th time starting this series... I love this show!
Can you see how far Arcane Library is to releasing a clean version of Shadowdark RPG? Because Kelsey Dionn is amazing and she could really use the exposure now that WotC is trying to pull the rug...
Just found this and it is the greatest story ever told!
Watching Season 2 before Season 1 honestly feels incredible. It seems like a prequel, and I got to discover the origin of Arn.
Having just watched Ep 1 of Season 2, which I was drawn to because Ironsworn is awesome, it’s cool to realise that Arn wasn’t the original protagonist.
I discovered you thanks to your stream with Kelsey and I'm all in! Love this!
Welcome :)
I live how energetic you are! Already looking forward to the next episode! I feel like the audio was a bit worse this episode (but might be related to my headphones). Highs were harsh and felt like de-essing was missing.
I really love this, I want to see more
The voicing is marvelous!
I was looking at Savage Worlds and this ... this was the motivation I finally needed to dive in full tilt. Trevor does a marvelous job showcasing just how flexible and fun this system is for narrative storytelling. What a legend! Definitely earned a lifelong subscriber today. :)
I’ve been thinking about getting into solo RPGs and this channel-I’ve just started watching now-is wonderful wonderful inspiration!
INCREDIBLE!!!!
The way you play solo is awesome! It's a inspiration!
So much fun, I was dying when you got several explosive rolls! keep up the good work!
So much fun to watch you play!
Wow! I love how the story comes about. I think there's a lot to learn even for more conventional games.
I love your energy. I love your game development.
I have been trying to find a comfortable solo game experience to me for a while now and I really appreciate your content. Shoutouts Trevor.
Fun fact: Mord in Polish means "murder", sooo... Great name 👍👍 😂
same in german 😃
Same in swedish
quite honestly one of the best campaigns I've watched thus far, which means a lot considering the time I had the last two years as a student
Amazing, I cannot believe how entertaining you make a solo rpg to watch! Hooked 😁
Loved this as much as the first episode!
I really enjoy how you use several different supplements, and you brought UNE to the table. Looking forward to what you’ll be trying next.
The sound of Simon hitting the water is hilarious.
You are so energetic! ♡ Glad this was suggested to me, I want to play solo one day!
It's so inspiring to see you create a whole character and interesting story with threads from absolute scratch in just two episodes. You make solo rpg-ing seem very accessible!
Incredible stuff. I aspire to be as good at improv storytelling and voices as Trevor. Excited to binge the show!
Dude. These are fantastic.
Thanks!
Really enjoy the content. I hope this is something that you continue to produce because this is not only pretty well edited but genuinely entertaining.
Digging your work sir, such a refreshing change in RPG content...keep 'em coming! And I should add (as we also use it) awesome choice of font :)
Wow well done, love what you are doing! Very compelling story.
This is the greatest use of Mythic ever!
I love your story! :) Thank you for sharing this.
Love it! Hope your following will grow, you deserve it!
This is fantastic. Well done. I know what I'll be binge watching for a short while.
Awesome! Best Mythic use ever! Great story came out the game. Cheers!
Ok, this is turning out to be something quite special! Thanks :)
What a fantastic thing I happened upon here. I'm genuinely engaged with this story. I'm a huge fan of Trevor, now. I must admit, I am not familiar with his voiceover work in animated shows/movies (I don't watch much of the like) but this and his Ironsworn series has captivated me.
Gadzooks, this was the genesis of the seed of the makings of the start of the stuff of legend! Two outsiders in a lonely cabin, injured and otherwise friendless, come together to plot their vengeance against a pitiless (but probably badly paid) foe.
Excellent fun, thoroughly enjoyed it, wondering how many more I'm allowed to fit in tonight before bed time.
Amazing! Love everything that happened here. Sent by JAT
This is brilliant! I was on the edge of my seat.
Outstanding
Wow, this is mesmerizing!
This is awesome! I'm only on this episode but I'm so glad I've found it!
This is Awesome! Subscribed!
Awesome, thank you.
Holy shit! Aran was just a random roll character?! Your imagination is pure gold!
I’m glad I finally tuned in. This is great! I’m trying to learn how to GM and I think learned the solo tools may be a good way to do it. Hope you keep it going, I think it’s just a matter of time for this channel to get a lot bigger.
Just what I've been looking for! Keep on!
Rewatching this, I forgot that Arn was created due to an interrupt scene. Kudos to Mythic and Trevor's imagination.
I love these vids! I shared a link to this feed with the Mythic RPG Group on Yahoo Groups, so I hope a lot more Mythic users will find the channel and subscribe. You are a fantastic role player (duh!) and I love the way you role play the characters, even though you are basically talking to yourself! I thought I was the only one wacko enough to do that. Carry on, Simon! And remember: "That which doesn't kill us gives us Bennies!"
I'm surprised you didn't make the connection that Vilborg was mistaken for this Orc, and was persecuted in his stead, therefore giving you and your new ally actually a conflict.
I was thinking maybe they met each other in jail.
Just stumbled onto this great series. Gotta say(and I guess it's kinda self evident given your profession) the audio quality on this show is *chef's kiss*!
It's like watching someone with multiple personalities and I'm all for it. 💜💜
Exploding 4's f-ing brilliant!!
love this guy's energy so much!
A bounty on Orc cavorting. 🤣
That exploding four. 😳
Loving these! Can’t wait to see your new Ironsworn stuff too.
omg, this is so good!
This is amazing!
I know close to nothing about RPG, I initially came here to find out what Trevor was up to and I’m really enjoying this. Thanks for helping me forget about everything that’s happening in the world right now :)
This is so awesome, and a fantastic resource for learning how to solo RP which I’ve always been curious about. Really enjoying this series, wish I had discovered it a long time ago. Thanks so much for this!
Loving the story so far!
Very entertaining! Looking forward to your work with Kelsey on Shadowdark RPG Solo Play.
I am trying to find a way to introduce role-playing to my young(er) children. This looks like a great gateway!
"cut back on the dice"
You might want to add caffeine to that! 😀😁😂🤣
JOKING! Stay as you are 😁
This is amazing!!!!
That's cool! Really gives a clear idea on how to use the Emulators. Surely there's some sinister motive behind the orc persecution laws in the area? Bring a dash of sorcery into this Sword & Sorcery? I'll definitely keep an eye on the series!
Aaaaaaarn!!!!! I was watching season two as the first one, now season one is ahead of me (season 3 coming soon) Lucky me :D
7 minutes in and I've got to take a break to track down every dang Solo tool you're using. Amazing show! 🍻
It took me a while to realize his interpretation of 'revolting'. Figured it was a rebel XD
Don’t worry, comparable and comparable are comparable
I don't know Savage Worlds, watched the Ironsworn Season first, gathered there was a whole history to Arn, and now I'm here.
I admit to being a bit lost with the rules, but it's still fascinating right now to consume the story and of course, the origins of Arn.
God just stepping into this episode after the poor shit show of Vilborg. Amazing showing! Love this so far! Let's hope this poor man catches a break!!
I love this. If I were to write a novel, I would be tempted to write it this way…
Me too 🤓
I had no idea that solo play could be so interesting!
I didn't realize Arne came in in EP 2! Wow. Such an early start for what becomes (no offense to Simon) but tied with our other friend (who later comes into play) for fave chars. (The other main char who's name I cannot recall
I love this! Also, any animators want to help this man out?
I'm alternating between Season 2 and Season 1 (so I can compare the two set-ups) and now I'm looking forward to how this playthrough leads to the Ironlands.
