Jeepers. That video was a long time ago!! Thanks for your message. From memory, we were buying cheap massive tubs of water-based emulsion as the cheap stuff still did the job. I don't remember there being any real science behind the paint/water ratio -- beyond it needing some water to keep the roller going round smoothly. Plus the water made the emulsion go further so kept the cost down -- albeit the downside was that it would get washed off by the rain sooner. Thanks for the question.
I googled how to mark out a junior football pitch because our new pitch needs doing… this one was the first result and unbelievably it is the actual pitch / park we have just agreed to use…

Great video. So is any watered down emulsion just as good as the proper line marking paint? How many part water / paint did you use in your mix ?

Why not try white spray paint in a tin for your circles
