This is 1 of my favorite TH-cam videos, I really enjoy seeing these new machines. I'm a retired construction worker I wish they had some of these machines when I was working. I almost want to go back to work.
I find it fascinating how machines like the Panther low loader and the JCB Fast Track are not just powerful, but also designed with advanced technology that enhances their efficiency and versatility. The ability to operate the Panther low loader remotely is a game-changer in heavy transport, reducing the risk of accidents and improving operational safety. However, it makes me wonder: as we continue to integrate more automation into machinery, what implications does this have for the workforce? Will we see job displacement, or will new roles emerge that focus on managing and maintaining these high-tech machines? This balance between technological advancement and employment stability is something we need to consider seriously.
I moved one of the road zipper or barrier movers from the factory where they were made to the Golden gate Bridge. Also moved several into and out of SO Cal

I don’t understand why there is not a machine that can fight the massive forest fires ……there is a material that stops burn up when re entering the earth from space , plus these monsters surely there has to be a better way .
Well, that material you spoke about doesn't actually stop burning! What it's very good at is repelling heat, so that the insides of spaceships don't end up burning up. But there's no real way to stop forest fires, sadly. These massive machines aren't built to deal with being surrounded by fire in the first place. All we can do is try and prevent them in the first place, and cut them off from populations when they do inevitably start.
SOME OF THESE REQUIRE PERFECT CONDITIONS TO WORK/////some are one -ofs I bet///the puller for stumps at high speed would require the stumps be the perfect size on the perfect terrain///I would say there are better and cheaper ways to do some of these tasks than building machinery that just barely works...the Orange Peel on a boom reaching over the edge of a commercial basement could be done with an old fashioned clamshell as quickly and way cheaper.BUT WHEN THERES PLENTY of money ,there is always waste
Well, for the stump puller, I'd wager that you're not entirely correct firstly. However, if you are correct, then it must be specialized for the wood industry, where trees are cut down when they reach the optimal diameter. Which one do you mean for the "orange peel", 19:44? If so, it'd be worth looking at.
Necessity isn't the reason for everything! We didn't really need to go to the moon, persay, but we did. What's wrong with having a little fun and pushing the limits of what we have?
This is specifically for the Fastrac, which is the world's fastest tractor. 150mph is theoretically achieved with the correct model; most are not designed around achieving top speeds and are better suited for pulling. Nonetheless, standard models can 43 mph, which is quite decent for tractors as a whole.
A tractor that can do 150 miles per hour? Now thats absolutely unnecessary. They dont need speed, just torque. Nobody uses a tractor going 150mph, you dont even use a tractor doing 60mph. Now that is a waste of a tractor, i bet you also pay a premium for it. Paying more for something non-practical. Yep.
Most seem to do max. 40Mph, though some models can reach ~50Mph, the one that went 153Mph was a one-off tuned version they did for the publicity. It has special body-work for aerodynamics, is lightweight (5 metric tonnes) instead of the 11 metric tonnes of the normal model and uses a parachute to slow down...
did i hear that right that tractor can go 1oo an some miles per hour you got to be kidding me no way what an why would you waant to go that fast on a dam tractor

Heavy machinery like this never ceases to impress!

The back of that cool machine at 3:50 reminds me of the Jawa Sand Crawler from Star Wars. Utini !!👍

Fantastic machines! Is there anything we can't achieve when we work together?
It's a big heavy equipment , i like it 👍🏿👍🏿

Thanks for the video and your work producing it. I work heavy equipment on the railways many years back and so much now is coming out.

fake news.
@@mickking5913 The real question is. What does a PC-8000 face shovel weigh as one can travel on a Panther.

You should add a price for each of these. Be some big bucks I’d guess

Now why would you need a tractor that runs over 100mph?? Not necessary

You need a 150 mph snowplow why...?
