A short guitar lesson regarding the awesome riff for the song Susie Q by Dale Hawkins etc. More lessons are available at my Patreon Page www.patreon.com/emanuelhedberg
Hot damn out are gifted. After hearing your short of this James Burton riff about a 100 times the last two days, it is time to get out my parlor guitar and learn this gem.
I didn't know how much fun this would be but am now playing it often. I have always loved this riff and your version is very cool. I would love to see a follow up if you have some ideas on how to take this to the next level... Maybe what could be done with looping it (I'm a huge fan of loopers), or some other ideas on how to build it into a more full song (as just repeating this would get old fast for anyone listening). Anyway, I'll explore that on my own, but just wanted to throw it out there. Thanks!
Thanks E...I've been playing it "wrong" for years...How about showing me how 'wrong' I am playing the rest of the song...Maybe Old Man Down The Road...Maybe Green River ???🌿Herb
Thanks Emanuel for the help droning the bass notes. I've been trying for years, adding notes each go-around made it easy! But why so serious? Give us a little smile! Kind of guitar?! Acoustic, you fools, leave it alone, it's not relevant.
Great lesson, I also notice that your camera covers you playing the lesson but is not far enough to show the make of your acoustic guitar; is this intentional or just coincidence...?
Bro please I beg you, please tell me about this guitar 🙏 I need it, I've tried alot to find it but I couldn't, is that furch D40 or any other please please please... This means alot to me, please do this only thing for your subscriber
Really cool way of playing and really inventive and creative way of teaching it,
😀🙏🙏
Cheers buddy. I played it back in slowmo and within a few minutes, boom, new tune, Maxi! And you're a very good teacher. 😁😎Stay cool, Bro! ✌️❤️
