    Great to see behind the scenes and how an American superstar trains while in a foreign city. The track at Bislett is open to the public most days and I ran a few laps there 2 years ago the week after this meet. It will be interesting what effect the loud crowd has on Sydney, who seems to thrive in that atmosphere.

    Paused at 0:42s all the time. I only decided to comment because from 0:34s- 0:42s is a really good stretch. The position she comes back into is a familiar one. I just didn't know that you could turn over with it all the way. All the time I'm stretching like that but I didn't know I could turn over on my stomach with and vice-versa.
    You know, Sydney is what a lot of if not all runners want to look like and be champions at the same time. The comments on nearly all the videos of her back me up. Got the looks too...

    this in not a training diary
    it's just an intro

      snay ke Seems like a good training day. Intro? That would mean she does even more training than this in a day. I would say it depends on the day. Like any athlete training varies daily.

      G Harris I know XC runners who had to chew gum for their competitions.

    Her blocks are screwed up. Look at the over extension on the back leg. She is only pushing from the front leg. Her block angles are wacked.

    • @Netgazum
      @Netgazum 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Anson Alexander Fame size does not matter at all. She could have a much better start to attack the first hurdle with. Doesn't matter her blocks are flat out wrong and just plain bad. Nice to know she could get a better start if someone helps her.

    • @Netgazum
      @Netgazum 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @Anson Alexander That, is not how it works. Force application is incredibly important and her Leg angles and foot angles mean she is not able to generate as much force as she could be. She has longer levers so its even more important for her as the longer the lever the slower the momentum is initially.

    • @Netgazum
      @Netgazum 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Anson Alexander I don't see any bashing going on. Watch Usain bolt if you want to see some tall, large frames get into blocks properly. They are certainly not my desired angles either, they are just fundamentals that you can't really argue with for starts. But those fundamentals are ignored here at the professional level.

    • @bpraise517
      @bpraise517 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @Anson Alexander And she has a professional paid for by NB coach on deck...people here should relax on the criticisms.

    • @Netgazum
      @Netgazum 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bpraise517 What criticism are we talking about? The block setup is equal to square peg in a round hole. Its just wrong, it's not a criticism it's just wrong, like a wrong answer. I simply pointed out an issue with her blocks and angles. I said she could go faster still if that was corrected. Overall, sprint coaching is pretty horrible at the pro level, how's that for criticism, and there are many examples. Hopefully those coaches don't ruin her.

      @@jgray3172I'm sceptical about the400m. Hurdles she has a legit chance. why the hate for Naser? She's a phenomenal athlete.
