- Balder is an Intamin wooden roller coaster with a prefabricated track that has operated at the amazing Liseberg amusement park in Gothenburg Sweden since 2003. It has continuously been voted one of the best wooden coasters in the world due to its great pacing and incredible airtime. Video includes a full front seat POV filmed during the European Coaster Club's Gate-crasher Tour of 2004.

Incredible airtime
A lot of woah's on that ride. I would love to ride it David. You are very fortunate to have ridden the best of the best wooden coasters on the planet. Did I ever ask you what you thought of riding El Toro in the back? I got a few crazy and I mean crazy rides on it. I rode it two years after it was built. One of my all time best woodie rides. Thanks D~

El Toro was pretty amazing in every seat...loved it, and was really lucky to get quite a few rides on it when we visited the park last time as everyone was in the line for Kingda Ka which was having some technical issues but nobody wanted to leave the line, so El Toro was walk on and stay on for almost an hour!
@@davidjellis Wow David. I would have loved to given an opportunity like that. I had to wait about 90 minutes each time I rode it. I waited for two rides. But after that it gets kind of tiring. Next time I go there I am going to try to get on some early ride time. Thanks D~
@@Paneeks1960 I was very lucky - the first time I was there to to ride El Toro the ride was closed (it was opening year but was behind schedule)
☺ Long time no see and as for myself I'm doing pretty well. Balder which sounds amusing... oh T-Express has just come to mind... Have to ride a new RMCed version so soon. ☺
Hello again - and glad you are okay. Balder is a lot of fun...and when I rode it last year it was just as good as ever..so much crazy airtime. I gather T Express will no longer be a woodie and is being converted to hybrid...which is a shame as it was also amazing with immense airtime. Pleased that Balder is being well looked after and there is no need to change it.
