Two guys were standing at the corner of my street with a football. Ironically, the guy holding the football was talking about how much of a gentleman he was... right before he kicked the ball across the street, straight into my chest. I fell onto my knees trying to get my breath back, and you know what he did? He ran over to me, picked up the football, and then ran back to his friend, all without acknowledging my existence.
Perfect. Freakin'. Gentleman. -_-
What a punk. If I'd kicked that ball, I'd have abandoned the game and helped you stay calm while you got your breath back.
Your story reminds me of when a punk ran a red light and hit me at 30mph (my gps showed a sudden acceleration of that speed afterwards). I couldn't see him coming since there were two full lanes between his lane and my sight. So he ran the light, I was on a bicycle, and he slammed me into the ground. I looked up from the ground and saw his vehicle 30 meters away or so, and as soon as I shook off the shock of being hit and stood up, he just took off. He just wanted to see if he'd killed a person, and once he saw I was alive, he gunned it. Strangely, I didn't get injured at all, but I don't use crosswalks anymore, because you have to trust the drivers won't screw around. I just wait until there are no cars within a certain long distance, and cross. MUCH safer.

BananaGirl G-EMOxx One time when i was like in grade 2 or 3 i fell on the ice/snow (i forget what it was) and someone came along and bounced a SOCCER BALL on me! also another time i slipped and banged my head on the ice and started crying and a grade freaking 1 came along and started going "wa wa wa" to me like i was a baby and yet ANOTHER time (this year to be exact) i hit a piece of snow out of someones hand breaking it and we were on the snow banks and he pushed me clean off and i heard that i actually did a flip and landed on my side... and another time this year i slipped down a icy part of the snow banks and then people were climbing up and were kicking me in the head but i couldnt move bc of the pain i was in then when the teacher was told what happened/was happening they came over and blamed it on me and i was like "f u idiot" and another time this year i was blaming something on someone and they came up in my face so i put my arm up to protect my face they took my arm tossed it away from my face grabbed at my glasses and threw them in the mud... like this could go on forever no joke XD

Once, on the beach, a guy ran into me almost like Christie and the football player. He knocked me over, landed on top of me, and we both rolled into the water. The worst part, though, was that I saw he had my bikini top in his hands after I sat up. He was so embarrassed he could hardly talk.

I was on a nude beach and a couple was playing frisbee. I had never thought that naked people playing sports could be so utterly horrifying... body parts were flopping every which way. It was a scarring experience to say the least...

I think that's so sweet Link. You were very chivalrous, running to defend your wife, most of all because you didn't think about it, it was your instinct, and your instinct is to run up to your wife and be angry at whoever may have hurt her, even if he's huge and could knock you out with one punch. That's real love, that's a caring father. Not thinking, not using rationality, just pure instinct, and instinct tells you to protect your wife and child so strongly that you don't even take into consideration the size of your adversary. I don't know about your wife, but if it were me, in that moment I would have thought "I married a wonderful man, and he's gonna be an incredible father". Bravo Link :)

When I was a kid I tried to play basketball with older kids and the ball was coming my way and since my hands were so tiny the ball bypassed my hands and hit my face. Pretty funny

Last year in 2013 I went to Orange Beach and I saw a naked 2-3 year old kid on the beach! My cousin kind of elbowed me and wisperd hey their's a naked little kid over there.I busted out laughing when we left.

When I was in 5th grade, it was time for recess and all of the "athletic guys" started to play football. My friend and I were walking toward my other friend on the other side of the playground when all of a sudden, a football smacks/hits me right in the face. It hurt so bad. At first I was like "who threw that!?!?!! Watch where you're throwing the football!!" And then my other friend came rushing over (because I'm sorta know as a wimp even though I'm tougher than most people in some cases) and asks if I'm okay and then I started crying...... It was pretty embarrassing. And the guy never apologized!

Last year, I was at Lagoona Beach with my dad and our dog (the dog is a male) and I accidentally threw the tennis ball a little too far as to where a middle aged woman caught it. I kept waving my hands to throw it to me but unfortunately, my dog ran up to the poor woman, knocked her down, and started humping her!!! xD xD best memory EVER!

I was at school in gym class when some guy threw a football straight into my face, and then I fell over and the guy came, took the football, went back to his friends and started laughing at me with them. And all through this, there was a teacher watching and when I looked at him after I got up, he just walked away. Great way to start the day............
