Yamaha's XMax 300 splits the difference between the smaller NMax and maxi-scooter TMax, offering a great all rounder, that's capable in the city, while offering enough power to ensure the open roads or two-up riding will be a breeze. Here's a quick look at the XMax 300 and what it has to offer.

I really like that Yamaha is offering something in this sort of "mid-maxi" range. Really practicaly allrounder that splits the difference between the capable big touring maxis and the light and agile smaller scooters. I think with some improvements to ergonomics, and in my opinion, looks (its a touch too aggressive for my liking, Tmax is better), it could be amazing. The Yamaha NMAX at least lets you put your heels on the horizontal surface and your toes on the angled surface, this XMAX has that rise from horizontal to angled platform which prevents you from doing so.

Scooters 125cc to 300cc make a lot of sense for interurban use. The integrated storage is excellent.

Gry honda forza 300 ...this is bit to small for 1.86 Dude ..i’m 1.88 and don’t like it

@@misieq19 Forza 300 is smaller than the XMax. I'm 1.85m, took a long test ride and sadly is is way too small.

just bought one yesterday. Traded 400 Burgman. Horrible riding position.....cramped.....brakes only so so.....way too tech stupid. just give me a freaking key!!! no braking brake!!!! 2018 come on.

I got a 2016 Kymco People GTi 300 i like Kymco people seating position better is up right, plus it has a flat floor compared to the downtown 300 .

you say you bought a xmax and you find it horrible. I am sorry but I don't believe you.
I own a xmax 300 and before I bought it, I had a test drive for one hour.
Brakes are good the same as the Honda Forza 300 witch I also drove, the key works perfect ( you could have know that before you bought it).
I love my xmax because it has for me a good sitting position, and enough power for a 300 , traction control and abs.
A lot of people say a lot of things on the internet that I don't believe , and you are one of them.

I had most every scooter...even a Forza....underpowered and terrible on my country roads. Burgman 400 ultimate in my opinion. Had Burgman 650...Honda Silverhawk 600. I will give my brand new Xmas a chance. The 100lbs less weight on the Xmax over the Burgman 400 is huge. If you can handle( 69 years old) that buy a 400 Burgman ABS

I found the feet up position less comfortable, but I've got long legs. Feet down seemed a lot more relaxed and spacious when riding.

I had an Aprilia SR 300 Max 7 years ago.Modern day Maxi Scooters are lighter and more powerful making them more fun to ride.
