Happy New Year beautiful people ✨ thank you for another year filled with your love and support 🥹 What are your top 10 games for the Nintendo Switch in 2023?
I didn't play as many Switch games as most people, so my rules would be a bit different than yours, as I'd kinda have to have ports for my list to be coherent. That being said, here's my Top 10 for the Switch: 10. Sonic Superstars 9. Fire Emblem Engage 8. Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective 7. Super Mario RPG 6. Life Is Strange 2 5. Persona 5 Tactica (the number five is a coincidence, haha!) 4. Master Detective Archives: Rain Code 3. Hogwarts Legacy 2. Super Mario Bros. Wonder 1. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Some of the runners-up were Theatrhythm Final Bar Line, Detective Pikachu Returns and F-Zero 99. While I'm not good at games like Metroid Prime Remastered and Pikmin 4, I can respect them as good games, but just in other peoples' hands.
I've only finished 6 Switch games from 2023 so my list would be something like Fire Emblem Engage, Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Theatrhythm Final Bar Line, Star Ocean The Second Story R and Super Mario RPG but my backlog is still huge. If I had to guess, the rest of the list would probably be Sea of Stars, Octopath II, Dave the Diver and Persona 5 Tactica.
Did you play Sea of Stars and if yes, what are your thoughts on it? I’ve seen it on several top ten lists and after trying the demo, I think I will purchase it - although your list has me specifically interested in Octopath traveler 2.
My Top 3 Favorite Switch Games of the Year are easily Tears of the Kingdom, Metroid Prime Remastered, and Return to Dream Land Deluxe. Happy New Year btw! ❤
My game of the year for switch was pikmin 4 TOTK was like playing botw more of the same with just a few new abilities it was not really jaw dropping or amazing like the trailer made it look. I did 100percent it.

Tears of the kingdom is absolutely great. Like BotW you can really spend your time roaming around. It's also a really beautiful and fun game

Octopath 2 and Pikmin 4 were such different and good games. 2023 was really good when it came to games!
