The weapon. The gun is good for wave clearing but for Colossus, no... I out DPS my friend with a Eternal Willpower AR and he has upgraded his Thunder cage and rerolled it for Colossus. Thunder cage is a good gun but show wave clear gameplay instead of Colossus because the gun is designed to clear mobs not bosses 🤷
The most Op combo I’m using rn is Thunder cage, Greg’s fate and piercing light. Yes Greg’s fate. The base stats are OP. Base stats in this game for each weapon are important to look at before even using it. If a weapon has super low base crit rate (under 20%) the modules for crit rate will not do anything because if the way the math works. For instance the python has 5% crit rate base. If you max out the better insight, that only brings up the 5% by an extra 1.95%. This is why the above combo I mentioned is god tier because thunder cage has base 20% crit rate and almost 2x crit damage. The Greg’s fate is the same except it has 2x base weakspot damage boost. Another thing is fire rate. 25% fire rate mod doesn’t only give you 25% more fire rate. Fire rate is calculate like this - Rpm/ (1-module percentage). So in the case of fire rate up mod and thunder cage that would be - 666/.75 = 888. Not only that but just like destiny 2, fire rate can be higher or lower depending on how good your frame rate is unfortunately. Keep all these things in mind when using weapons and trying out guns. Unfortunately many guns are trash simply because of their base stats and can’t be increased to be usable. Python has massive base weakspot so you can build it for weakspot and raw damage.

Try the python or tamer with supply moisture or fatal critical. Both those modules apply plus crit hit rate meaning it’s adding to what ever your weapon has so if you 20 it puts you at cap. Fatal critical has a small cooldown and valby’s moisture transcendient just needs water.
The Thundercage can be animation cancelled to reload faster, so you could get rid of that reloading mod as well. You cancel the animation with the grapple into the air, or a roll, or a skill. Grapple is quicker. Just need to find the right timing for it.
You can also just aim, which imo more convenient . Any action in this game can cancel reload and the window is very generous. But I still keep reloading mod modifier on my python
Great video , just a shame that Not One TH-camr has made a video, (Which I think would be really Helpful) EXPLAINING the different Enemy TYPES, such as the Immune Enemies, what is best Pierce, Burst or Crush. How to deal with them if they are still saying that their Immune even though there are NO other Enemies with it. The different Damages and De-Buffs each enemy type deals. I think that this will be a lot better than seeing multiple videos about Broken things and the Most Deadly SMG.

I was extremely blessed with a 4x Gold Firearm ATK, Crit Rate, Crit Damage, Attribute Status Thunder Cage and have been working mine a little differently than yours but taking somethings you mentioned to try. My current mods have been; Firing Fiesta Action/Reaction Rifling Reinforcement Fire Rate Up Expand Weapon Charge Concentrate Support Ammo Insight Focus Commando Marksmanship (Elemental Enhancement) -Empty- Thinking of switching out my purple Crit Rate/Damage mods for the blues as you do and I need to assign a few more module sockets for efficiency

heard they are working on a fix for it. So you will have to learn soon. They said it's overwriting a feature they have in the game so they want to fix it. Maybe next big update.
Using my thunder cage now just mold a 2 and one to upgrade my first one thing to kills us farm the loot to upgrade the slots for a better build but your game play and build are awesome
insight focus give you better dps in general, instead of weak point sight and concentrate support ammo is a bit questionable, i personally run reload insight, but i might gonna try concentrate support ammo instead, overall, your build is pretty good, im running almost the same, my thunder cage currently sit's at 520000 dps, gotta farm 2 more catalyst and make it 600k+
No, definitely not for thunder cage. Insight focus is a relatively weak mod and almost anything else is better; unless you compare it to non-max rank mods and you only have 11 capacity left - that's the only case where it can inch it's way into an optimized setup. It definitely has no place in any fully polarized build.
Insight focus strong on paper which is theoretical. in actual gameplay the crit it gives is miniscule and not worth something else that could destroy mobs like weakpoint sight and hitting headshots
Congrats. You beat one of the easiest (hard mode) bosses in the game. I'm impressed. Now lets see you do the same to something thats actually challenging.
You can run 4 different mods there. The Recycling give you 30% reload to counter the reload from priority. The min gain you get for the others is up to you. Not having a slow reload will help you keep rounds down range. Also blue mods take less shrds to enhance. Other 3 are reload insight, reload focus & consume magazines. All have less reload time bonus but have another attribute.

Anyone else having issues updating the game? I updated it and when I got home from work I had to update it again. This was yesterday. I played last night, and when I checked the game this morning the same 30+ GB update needed to be installed again. At the moment I'm reinstalling the entire game. But has anyone else had this issue?
It’s not just you. Been happening to me as well. Only way I’ve found around it is to uninstall the game and reinstall it fresh off the Microsoft store. Really sucks that you have to do a 40 GB download every time you wanna play but it works.

Can someone please help me? Me and my friend are trying to get the overcharge ability maxed. We grinded for hours to get the crystallizations and the thundercages to combine. When clicking on the gun to combine them on the workbench it now says there are no available items to use. I got my overcharge to lvl2 but can’t go higher. He has his not overcharged yet and it won’t let him combine. We both have all materials needed. Thanks so much in advance!!!!!
What if the 2nd thunder cage you get which is level 1 has a better roll than the one you are using which in my case is level 41... Do I just sacrifice the level 1 to up my unique count on my current Level 41 or can I sacrifice my 41 on the level 1 to keep the better roll and then transfer up to level 41? I recall hearing that some yellows get replaced tol whites but I dont know when that happens. I haven't up'd any uniques abilities yet or recalibrate stats as I am still playable regular difficulty. I literally got the 2nd thundercage by not completing the workbench tutorial yet.
That lvl 1 roll will become obsolete once you level up the weapon. You can see it become grey after it level up depends on the new level. You need to keep reroll them again to have a higher stat until you hit lvl 100 cap in hard mode or you can just ignore it until you upgrade it to lvl 100 if you want to save the mats and have possibly higher stats roll.
To people impressed by the sheet dps, it is flawed and doesn't count all damage especially when not just going for raw crit and instead building for bosses and weak point elemental damage. Just something to keep in mind when looking at build and think OMG mine is soo much better just by the sheet.

honestly, drop weak point and put in the other mag size mod, thunder cage only has 1.2 weak point, also if you do go with ele damage, they dont get increased by weak points(it can crit though), so just keep that in mind, also if you do the build that is leave one of your slots open remember you will have to have lower level mods to fit in a max level ele mod(since they have different mod types you cant fully upgrade your weapon)
The thing is thundercage doesn't need to be overbuilt. It works just fine, for the hordeclearing passive when maxed out, with 1-2 catalyst(no activator) and standard 3 dps mods + element. The passive does very little against colossus and you're better off building other guns, smg damage loss over range is huge when needing to hit colossi...etc. from across the arena even if the horizontal recoil and bloom doesn't throw you off weakspots.

I feel like with my rolls I got extremely lucky n kinda got a god rolled setup on mines with Firearm crit dmg 36.5% Firearm crit rate 13.2% Weak point dmg 12% Bonus ATK against colossus 2352 Oh and those are all gold rolls too
Don't think it's broken. When all us none pay to win players get to end game with max out guns an build we will be doing that damage an solo boss kills with whatever gun. Just takes time with legit grinding.

Well it is technically highest value perk (for thunder cage specifically (maybe other smg's too - didn't check); the faction perks are not great on tamer, as another example) and the video does start with a colossus kill :P. I wouldn't optimize TC for colossi though, as it's not the best weapon for that either way. And for other factions, it's not 3x better than the next alternative, so I wouldn't care about it unless you wanted to really min-max it for some specific grind spot (but a 2-3% dps difference is really not going to make a big difference for normal farming). Just get weakpoint for 4th slot. If you want some raw numbers to get an idea of what you're losing/gaining, here's some: raw dps change effect of removing a perk from fully maxed build (variant with 2 weakpoint mods, ele mod and no gold mods): faction damage (~9%) =~ crit damage (~8.5%) >> atk (~6%) =~ crit chance (~5.5%) =~ weakpoint (~5%; would be higher for a build using just 1 weakpoint module too) >> mag size (~3%) > ele damage (~2%).That's also assuming max rolls of perks; since faction damage has a wide range, a minimum roll would not be worth much; while the other 4 perks have tight ranges and pretty much any color would be good enough (maybe try to get gold crit damage first though). If you can't get the 4 good universal perks, you might as well keep any faction perk, as the 2-3% perks are quite inconsequential, or you may even like -recoil (kind of hard to put that into numbers, since technically you should control recoil perfectly anyway).

Why would they make this shit so easy to get and op so early on.. completely nullifying most weapons if not all weapons in the game. Horrible ass game design.
I like the whole game and grind, but for me, the drop rates are so bad. The catalyst feels easy to farm, but the energy activator is hard to farm. I have two EAs and used one on Tamer. I didn't even upgrade any descendants yet. Present I'm grinding for Enzo.
@@NothingButSkillz I hope so. I spent 3 days grinding the same two missions for a drop I never got. I wouldn't mind if the content was varied but it's one of the most grindy games I've played.
It's a long grind but once you got the hard bosses on farm, energy activators are simple to grind. It's abyssal fusion reactor parts that take forever.
@@christoff124 The hard bosses aren't hard so they were on farm as soon as I completed the single player game. The thing is, the items I have to farm for aren't even from the hard mode bosses. It's all shard portal farming. I've been farming hardcore and only just got my third character. I've been farming for a 4th when I get bored but I'm so bored with the game now. Not enough content to keep a grinder like this going.
@@tehf00n you want sharen for the world content and missions. Don't follow these other low IQ peoples build. Build her as bruiser with skill power , skill crit/damage and at least 60% cool down and 5000 HP and 30000 defense. Thunder cage for missions and world content, eternal willpower for bosses.
Just farm the ambush farm spot for a bit and you should get a few. It drops from mobs in sterile land and that one is one of the best farm spots overall anyway.

dont want to be that guy but the DPS on the left isnt the tru dps number it's been proven. It doesn't even calculate everything. There are people with 600 DPS and its actually less than others.

A unique gold mod with a mechanic non meta just to see, it may fit in your formated slots, could be interesting.

Just so you know the support ammo does not work on bosses. The ammo is a static amount. so its a wasted slot when fighting bosses

After playing Warframe many years seeing the element mods have different symbols in TFD hurts my head (aside 100%+ cold mod in WF)
The devs seem to listen to the community pretty well. I think that if we requested a lot, they might make that change.

They automatically get grayed out after you level up the weapon (leaving the base stats at level 1) So yes, you will need to readjust.

Just do an action like gambol at 1/3 of reload and you have full ammo and doesnt need to add mod for reload time..

honestly, drop weak point and put in the other mag size mod, thunder cage only has 1.2 weak point, also if you do go with ele damage, they dont get increased by weak points(it can crit though), so just keep that in mind, also if you do the build that is leave one of your slots open remember you will have to have lower level mods to fit in a max level ele mod(since they have different mod types you cant fully upgrade your weapon)

The thing is thundercage doesn't need to be overbuilt.
It works just fine, for the hordeclearing passive when maxed out, with 1-2 catalyst(no activator) and standard 3 dps mods + element. The passive does very little against colossus and you're better off building other guns, smg damage loss over range is huge when needing to hit colossi...etc. from across the arena even if the horizontal recoil and bloom doesn't throw you off weakspots.

I use the same mods , 4 mods that are on 3 weapens and realy triple youre dps ,my scout rifle to makes grazy dps nmr,s !!
my thunder cage has 560k dps not too shabby
It looks like a good build I have 580k dps on mine
the number on the left doesn't take into account weak point dmg and other. So can't always look at that number to the left.
But the valby with thunder cage is Way more beast.

Take the reload mod off and my dps is @ 566k.

Don't think it's broken. When all us none pay to win players get to end game with max out guns an build we will be doing that damage an solo boss kills with whatever gun. Just takes time with legit grinding.
Definitely noticed quick that 99% of content creators have not farmed for anything and wallet warriors then make videos saying ya use this.
does Buny and ultimate buny share modules? like if i use catalyst on bunny does it transfer over to Ultimate?

@@CuisineArtno you definitely should, unless your close to ultimate bunny or plan on buying her. It’s really hard to grind end game without a good character build. Just know you have to regrind all your catalyst

Well it is technically highest value perk (for thunder cage specifically (maybe other smg's too - didn't check); the faction perks are not great on tamer, as another example) and the video does start with a colossus kill :P. I wouldn't optimize TC for colossi though, as it's not the best weapon for that either way. And for other factions, it's not 3x better than the next alternative, so I wouldn't care about it unless you wanted to really min-max it for some specific grind spot (but a 2-3% dps difference is really not going to make a big difference for normal farming). Just get weakpoint for 4th slot.
If you want some raw numbers to get an idea of what you're losing/gaining, here's some: raw dps change effect of removing a perk from fully maxed build (variant with 2 weakpoint mods, ele mod and no gold mods):
faction damage (~9%) =~ crit damage (~8.5%) >> atk (~6%) =~ crit chance (~5.5%) =~ weakpoint (~5%; would be higher for a build using just 1 weakpoint module too) >> mag size (~3%) > ele damage (~2%).That's also assuming max rolls of perks; since faction damage has a wide range, a minimum roll would not be worth much; while the other 4 perks have tight ranges and pretty much any color would be good enough (maybe try to get gold crit damage first though). If you can't get the 4 good universal perks, you might as well keep any faction perk, as the 2-3% perks are quite inconsequential, or you may even like -recoil (kind of hard to put that into numbers, since technically you should control recoil perfectly anyway).

It doesn't let you go in solo you have to mtch make due to the mechanics same with the final boss.
Hopefully this doesn't come off as bragging or snotty. My friend said he would get me an Ultimate Character if i keep playing. I have a really good Bunny for Farming but i suck at Bossing. Would anyone recommend a really good Ultimate Character? Should i wait for anyone?

Why would they make this shit so easy to get and op so early on.. completely nullifying most weapons if not all weapons in the game. Horrible ass game design.
I like the whole game and grind, but for me, the drop rates are so bad. The catalyst feels easy to farm, but the energy activator is hard to farm.
I have two EAs and used one on Tamer. I didn't even upgrade any descendants yet.
Present I'm grinding for Enzo.
didn't they improve them today I did the thundercage and all the mats in like one hour
@@NothingButSkillz I hope so. I spent 3 days grinding the same two missions for a drop I never got. I wouldn't mind if the content was varied but it's one of the most grindy games I've played.
It's a long grind but once you got the hard bosses on farm, energy activators are simple to grind. It's abyssal fusion reactor parts that take forever.
@@christoff124 The hard bosses aren't hard so they were on farm as soon as I completed the single player game. The thing is, the items I have to farm for aren't even from the hard mode bosses. It's all shard portal farming. I've been farming hardcore and only just got my third character. I've been farming for a 4th when I get bored but I'm so bored with the game now. Not enough content to keep a grinder like this going.
@@tehf00n you want sharen for the world content and missions. Don't follow these other low IQ peoples build. Build her as bruiser with skill power , skill crit/damage and at least 60% cool down and 5000 HP and 30000 defense. Thunder cage for missions and world content, eternal willpower for bosses.

Just farm the ambush farm spot for a bit and you should get a few. It drops from mobs in sterile land and that one is one of the best farm spots overall anyway.

I recommend people farm for 5 Thunder Cage, choose one with the best rolls and upgrade with the other 4.
You will have to reroll, the weapons craft at lvl 1 and the rolls too, even if you level the weapon to 100 the rolls don't scale
6 crystalization catalysts total?? i know 2 inherent for thundercage but thats 4 into a weapon that has the same sheet dps as the tamer, with 0 catas
Best farming weapon, 20% base crit and over 650k dps when maxed id argue the overall value is much higher than tamer

dont want to be that guy but the DPS on the left isnt the tru dps number it's been proven. It doesn't even calculate everything. There are people with 600 DPS and its actually less than others.
