With Abbotors not willing to enter to contract with small scale farmers particularly black farmers ,how Sappo is willing to assit in this regard to enable small scale farmers to be associated with them. 1st Sappo strigent application is not best suit to small scale farmers due to financial muscle ,and size of the land required and environmental requirements which put off the poor farmers at disadvantage. Is the a way better to assit from the Sappo association by waiving some of the process for them to be able to have numbers of small scale farmers to enter the pork industry through thier association?
It is sad that there has been no response to this question. Is it possible to form a Union for small scale farmers in pig farming, so matters like this be tabled and resolved.
