Great information, many thanks. My question is have you ever experienced African swine fever (ASF) on the farm? If yes how do you manage such situation? Is there a vaccine or treatment for ASF?
If there are any schools that I would love to go to.. It did be agricultural farms and this is one school I did love to go and learn... Lots of love from Uganda... Thanks for the show
I had to ensure I LISTEN TO the DAIICHI DIRECTOR all the way to the END. Their story is so captivating. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. And may GOD BLESS THE WORK OF YOUR HANDS ! The PRAYER OF JABEZ in the BIBLE BOOK OF 1 CHRONICLES 4:10 is my wish for you ALL. You are Blessed !!!
Am investing in a commercial pig farming Business and Out of the 10,s of videos and farms I have visited, this is it. Daichi Farm convinced me of all my doubts, answered all my questions, and cleared my vision; and here I am all Marveled. I will book a visit the soonest for further learning, to get my first Lot and polish up my structures quite nicely as I have seen. Am into Engineering but, Daichi You have won this Engineering Heart.
It is good to see a farmer who is knowledgeable about some of the characteristics of the family of porcines. It is true they are very clean animals given opportunity and surprisingly intelligent. Which is why two elements I have observed here bring concern. Pigs must remain in groups for their feeling of safety and for warmth, however, there is much overcrowding in these pigsties. From the weanlings to adults there are too many for feeding, sleeping and comfort. The other concern regards enrichment. Notwithstanding the pigs will live a short life, they are highly intelligent and would benefit from daily time outside and having safe objects to exercise their minds and curiosity. For a smart animal boredom can be torturous to the mind. Psychology of animals should not be reserved only for pets but should also extend to the meat industry. If we broaden our sensitization to include these as well we can be assured to have done all to our best ability.
This is one of the loveliest videos I have watched and heard. Lovely farm, wonderful concept and a visionary. Kudos to you and I anticipate seeing you as a national brand. Cheers!!!
Really appreciate how we are making milestones in getting more into value addition. This was really inspiring and full of great pointers when it comes to understanding business management.
You Guys are serious, you know exactly what you are doing. One thing learnt is, This is business dont do it because you have interest, When you want to do, do it commercially.
Insightful and inspiring. Thank you very much for the information. This is very motivating, it gives us(the young farmers) a sense of direction and perseverance. Thanks very much

This is very interesting and grateful Jeniffer, i really picked interest in the Pig project as i write here. i will reach you any time for more inquiry. otherwise thank you so much.
Wow wow. So well explained. You are truly a teacher of Pigs. Hopefully one day you will be as big as farmers choice. I love everything you are doing, the value addition was just icing in the cake. Congratulations.
If feed is an issue, why dont you breed Black Soldier Fly larvae for your pigs. You can use the pig manure to feed the larvae...along with other inputs. BSF larvae can be grown in 2 week cycles and create an almost abundant source of protein and fat. Pigs love them. There is also the option of growing hydroponic grain fodder. Its also cheap to produce and both will drastically reduce your feeding costs.
Thank you very much for the useful sharing. Is it possible for me to get training in value addition such as sausage making. I am looking forward to hearing of any possibility to do so.
Thanks for this video. But how do you manage feeding all these piglets so that they can grow on the same level while it seems the eat from the same feeding trough ? Watching from Kigali 🇷🇼
