Sohyang sounds natural and effortless! She has an excellent vocal technique, placement and stamina. Her timbre is angelic. She is a soprano extraordinaire.

If you don't know, Eumee here is singing in a competition (semi-finals) and she have to sing every day. She is definitely tired here already. It is not her best performance. But even in her best condition, I'm still sure So Hyang will win.
As you can hear, Eumee's rendition is almost the same as So Hyang's. I bet she was inspired by and recognized So Hyang. Please don't put her down, if ever. She is still a very talented singer with lots of potential 😁🥰.

따로따로 들으면 ㄹㅇ 둘다 엄청난데 같이 들으니까 차이가 진짜 확나네..
Correct, both applies 2 different techniques in singing; Sohyang uses mixed belt and Eumee uses full chest belt. It will be on the listener's preference as vocal tone production is influenced by a lot of factors, including cultural. Filipinos like full bodied, powerful rounded tones hence the Filipino belters prefer chest voice. Sohyang's technique on the other hand, is often used by choir singers here not the mainstream artists like Eumee. The common perception in the Philippines is full chest belting is more difficult. Again, this is cultural. Moreover, Sohyang is a vocal technician, employing different registers and mixing it when she sings. Eumee didn't have formal classical voice training, like most artists here. They rely heavily on natural talent and vocal reproduction of their favorite singers, which are often western belters like whitney houston, mariah carey, celine dion, etc.
I hope this helps in stopping the bashing from both sides and just agree to disagree.

she's best when it comes to screaming.
Eumee Capile did a very good job but hers performance is more unconnected, robotic. This is more clear in the second half. SoHyang's performance has more smooth transitions between words and notes and generally more feelings / soul. Also dynamics in SoHyang's performance is better - from soft and quiet levels to powerful ones. Eumee had difficulties to hold constantly such high notes and she pushed herself - some notes are pushed and she went lower. Still very good performance though.

I hate these comparison video’s , they serve no purpose but start arguments and hate! Eumee should sing her own version in her own style! She seems very talented! SoHyang is a very seasoned experienced Artist and this is one of her best and her arrangement! I am a huge SoHyang fan !

저 필리핀 가수도 상당한 가수 일텐데...소향과 비교해보니 가사 전달력,감정,음정,고음 모든면에서 그냥 K.O 당하네 무엇보다 고음에서 저 필리핀 가수는 막 쥐어 짜내는 듣기 불편한 고음인 반면에 소향은 쉽게 그냥 나오는 명쾌한 고음 임
