Another excellent video. I did think of getting one of these until I saw this video though, I've looked to getting a FX but due to the number of seals in the design, it totally put me off (so many potential leaks). Sadly this gives me the same thoughts. I bought a Ghost with fewer seals which gives me a little more peace of mind.👍
As I've said b4, I love your work. It's easy to understand you and you don't go too fast. I recently got my Atomic XR and when I removed chasis to lighten the trigger, there was no warrning about "watch out that the spring and pin for power adjuster don't fall out". Gues what, they fell out and I lost the spring. I friend lent me his while AOA sends me another and your video, THIS video, saved me because I had no idea as to if the sping went on top of the pin or below and what side of the pin faces "down". THANK YOU. Do you have a video on trigger adjustment on Atomic? I also want to see a video on Hammer Adjustment. This is my first Brocock/Brk aside frokm a Pathfinder XR that arrived from AOA leaking and I sent it back and got this Atomic XR in .22. I'm in Connecticut USA
Is the block for Atomic etc different from the block for Commander. Pathfinder etc inasmuch as the Commander and Pathfinder etc have a regulator and bottle gauge?
@@BRKBrocock I have emailed your "office@" and submitted a support request through your website, NEVER a reply, so what good is that? I own sevferal of your more expensive XR series gun and don't get support from Brocock/Brk. I've even CALLED your office in the UK and I never get a return call!
@@Life_a_bike That is not something that can be answered quickly. Generally, set your regulator first, and always on the low side because to lower the reg pressure, you HAVE top completely degass the gun. Raising reg pressure not so. Then reduce hammer all the way out. Hammer changes should be in 1/4 turn increments at most. Then shoot the pellet/slug you would prefer to use regularly. Always take 5 or more shots (dry fire with air only in the gun, never without air) to let hammer more or less settle in. Never adjust hammer with the gun cocked. Then gradually increase hammer until velocity peaks and then declines. Then reduce hammer to 1/4 turn below where velocity peaked for 5 shots. The hammer and regulator need to be in sync/harmony. That's called "tuning". I suggest that you watch videos on Tuning. Here's the best one that applies to most PCPs. th-cam.com/video/L0_RVfiNPCI/w-d-xo.html
Not only excellent in content but after the stress of a leak or failure the presentation is like therapy...
EXCELLENT VIDEO...
On my Commander XR Magnum .22 the two grub screws on top of barrel are 3mm not 2.5. I'm in CT USA
Great informative video
Excellent job Jeff👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌😎😎😎😎😎😎

I have an FX Maverick, FX Panthera 600 and FX Panthera Hunter Compact and I've never had any problem, no less a leak, from them.

Awsome 👌🏻
Could you please demonstrate how to adjust trigger?
i will put this on our to-do list
Very good vid! I have one question: What’s the difference between reducing the hammer spring tension vs decreasing the regulator pressure?
