The urban legend is the isolation booth malfunctioned and he heard his partner say chicken, so turkey was stuck in his head. His wife was so embarrassed she offered to pay the producer not to air the show, but when he told her it cost the production company £30,000 to produce it, she said "never mind" 😅

I've known two people who appeared on game shows. A guy from my army unit was called down on The Price Is Right as one of the first four contestants...he never made it on stage. On one item he was last to bid, literally the entire audience was screaming "ONE DOLLAR!!!", he bid $2400 & everyone was indeed over. His last name was Dahl, so "One Dahler" became his permanent nickname. The other was a co-worker of mine about 7 years ago who actually made several of these "dumbest answers" videos while on Wheel of Fortune. He guessed "Surf clay, where we go" rather than the correct answer, "Surf City here we come"...the truly sad part being that "come" was already completely spelled out on the board. He wound up getting an offer to appear in a commercial for some sports bar named Surf City, but never did. 😂😂
You're the first people I've ever seen that acknowledge the pressure of the situation these people are in. A lot of money on the line AND an audience AND cameras on them. Everyone else I've watched something like this with or seen react to it (as well as almost all comments on those videos) genuinely think, that you can tell whether a person is stupid or smart by whether or not they can reliably give good, correct and quick answers on recorded game shows. Man, I freeze up if someone privately just asks me what movies I like. I suddenly forget every movie I've ever watched, lol. The only one in this compilation that seemed to really BE dumb to me (as opposed to just having a pressure derp-moment) was the decades-guy xP. Also, I agree it's really hilarious when you see the expression on their faces, once they realise what they just said/what the question actually was :D
My senior year we had a Family Feud night. On "Name a state that has great beaches" our Valedictorian replied "West Virginia". Everyone lost their minds.
Why? I just googled West Virginia beaches and they seem pretty nice. There’s beaches here too even if it’s just by the riverside and not sea or ocean… beaches aren’t just seaside and Oceanside yknow… that shows why they were the Valedictorian (: then again there’s beaches everywhere or almost
Don't know if anyone else said it already but the 'how many decades' question wasn't her being dumb, she had to guess what HIS answer was going to be and knew he didn't understand what a decade was. Very clever

The one about an animals eggs you don't want to eat with the response of Hamster, they do have eggs. Just like a human baby that is created by an egg and a sperm. I wouldn't want to eat hamster eggs either.

I will always love the "Neked Grandma" part. Specially when the other guy goes "I wouldn't want to see that either." xD
Even funnier is that it was up there as “gun/occupant”
And he got the point with that answer!

I've heard a few people make that argument. True, she had to guess his answer, but I'm not convinced that was intentional. That was just dumb luck.
The part where the woman says September is awesome if you watch the whole thing
Is it along the lines of, 9 months and September is the 9th month?
And all those contestants from the 1970s and 1980s thought they'd never have to relive their moment of shame on TH-cam.
the ones that're still alive that is
Family Feud answers are hilarious 😂😂😂

No, no. The decade question you could tell from the face the woman made that she isn’t that stupid, she just knew her husband was.
