I was rooting for the Peugeot! I just did a test of 27 hot hatches and a few classics on Mangrove Scramble last week. The car to beat was the Peugeot 207, which has been my main A-Class rally car for as long as I've been playing. While the 207 is still one of the top three, the overall winner was the Peugeot 205 Rallye. It not only gave the fastest lap times, it was also agile, predictable, mannered, forgiving of mistakes, and fun. It is now my new go-to for A-Class rally. The third place was the 2003 Ford Focus, which was the biggest surprise of the competition. The only classic to make the top 10 was the Ford Lotus Cortina. When I want to race a more modern rally car, I choose another top 10, the 2017 #14 (Rahal, etc.) Ford Fiesta, which I carefully tuned into top 3 territory following the testing.
Some real great racing. It's also kind of nice when no one gets screwed over by checkpoints. Just clean, natural racing (where going off the course serves as its own penalty.)
He didn't slam into you, he didn't bump you, he didn't nudge you, he rubbed you.... and rubbin, son, is racin. It's always fun when you show up for a rally race and a NASCAR event breaks out.
I agree, you saw it coming and closed that door and the pass was done off track while making contact and putting you wide. It wasnt 'aggregious' but it wasnt sporting, you both drove really well, but I think you do deserve the win Dangerman in all fairness. No disrespect to Alex, a good and fair racer, as you all are.
I'm sure my take is a bit different, because i'm used to "chrome horn" passes. I find this completely acceptable and within bounds. It's not like Dangerman got dumped via the 8 wheels is better than 4 strategy and shoved off the track. Two guys were fighting over the same real-estate. If you look at the semi before, Gliscor shows the textbook way to defend on that exact same corner from a hard charging Alex. He hugged the inside line almost immediately from coming out of the prior corner to ensure there was no passing room on the inside.

While in other places, it's good to avoid spoilers, YT comments are a bit more unique as it's pretty much universally agreed that if you want to be sure you won't see spoilers, watch the video before even glancing near the comments section.
Oh, Celica! I'd never heard of a Saleeekah, couldn't really see it on my phone, figured it was some niche performance car built in a shed in eastern Europe.
We've found what FH5 can be good for, point to point tournaments!!! There are so many nice choices as well. I find most of the circuits lacklustre, but you could make some sweet P2P's thanks to the terrain and altitude variations. Also, that was brilliant. Really exciting racing, great commentary and camera work, and of course the map choice was poifict! 👌
I've never Cheered so much it was as if I was watching Arsenal score a late goal to win the champions League 😂😂😂😂 ... Manic races !!! There was always something to fight for , love it ❤️❤️❤️
Your videos are amazing! I love the commentary it's well put and immersive which really adds to the experience. I love forza horizont though I don't have nearly half the skill you all do with tuning nor do I have a console or pc to play on so your forza videos are always very exciting to me

This "track" reminds me a bit of the one you got in FH4, that "island" DLC", just not quite as spectacular as that one. Wish you fly higher with the "drone" so we can see more of the field.

@@rosy_kykhn Yeah, like in the HotWheels expansion, you can fly real high. Devs newer listen to base players, only a selected vocal few and those have no idea what the majority wants. You see that in so many "racing" games.

Every time I watch someone do dirt racing is drives me insane because the offroad race tires shouldn't be better than purpose built rally tires on gravel and dirt
Really wish Forza would just get its shit together and you could just make custom routes for this so we wouldn't have to deal with teh horrid drone cam. It really is the best premise being held back by lazy game design.
@@raregliscor1 Yea and that doesn't mean that it's not bad and couldn't/shouldn't be a better way to go about this in a racing game. It's not like I don't enjoy the vids (which I do and I comment quite a lot) but the drone isn't as good as if you could actually make a freaking custom track from anywhere and then have nice replay cams like every other racing game other than the Horizon franchise for whatever strange reason.
@@trautsj the drone cam is much better than the replay camera provided in the Horizon games, the Crew 2 is probably my favorite replay camera in any racing game since it even edits/picks the best camera angle on it's own to make an interesting replay
@@Tree1237PS Indeed. Crew 2 is super super solid and is more of what I'm alluding to as opposed to the drone camera. Imagine that combined with being able to start a race course anywhere you wanted in Horizon. I guess we can dream right? lol

The "correct pronunciation" isn't really set in stone. The best I can come up with is what the manufacturer advertisements say, and you can bet your ass that they use different pronunciations in different countries.

I think the move wasn't really on. The overlap was within the desync and the pass was off the track so. I have to reluctantly agree it wasn't sporting
