Hi there summer quarter has started for me and I motivated myself with the brand new Macbook Air 15’’! It is so pretty and comfortable for studying and working. This is my first video on youtube. Haha i just found out a funny thing that i've bought the space gray color but then few days i feel might be starlight would better for me. So i decided to returned the gray one and get the starlight. Completely oposite with you : ))

iam planning to buy it next month but some youtube channels dont reccomend getting it, they say its slow.
what do you think of it, iam like you(in the medical field) so iam not a heavy user, should i buy it ?
@@adham66425 yes the base model. By no means am I a tech expert but for a regular student like me, this MacBook is perfect as it has large screen space and high portability. I had a 13’’ MacBook and it felt really constrained when I had multiple tabs open: anki, ppt, webs, etc. My friend has a 16” but it’s way too heavy. So, it comes down to your priorities. Do you need screen space? Do you need to carry it around? Even for performance purposes, my partner has it for coding and he uses it comfortably. If you really want to get one, I recommend you getting it before October while their student discount lasts;)

You can use your ipad as a second screen, in case you didnt know.
mhm Sidecar is really useful when there are multiple windows. I just like having my iPad as a separate device so I can use the apple pencil and touchscreen function ☺

why would u need both ipad and macbook lol
Idk maybe for designers u might want an ipad cus there is no touchscreen.macbook
I personally use my Ipad to take handwritten notes and for drawing and my Laptop for everything else (Photoshop, Illustrator etc. simply don’t have the same functionality as an App on the iPad) and I prefer a laptop for basically everything over an iPad haha. There simply are things that an iPad can’t do, and there are specific things that a Laptop/Macbook can’t do
yea! I agree with @ElaMegwhenz and @josie3779. The beauty of an iPad is the touchscreen function. I love writing and drawing on it. It is extremely useful when it comes to doing math questions XD and digital art. I also used to use GoodNotes but now I prefer typed notes because it is much faster to type haha. Sometimes I use iPad and MacBook side by side, not to have it as a second monitor but as a separate laptop. I find it easier to scroll through PDF on iPad with my finger than to use the trackpad, and it is also faster to handwrite annotation on articles and do multiple choices question on iPad than on a MacBook. Anyway, I use them for different purposes and they are inconvenient in their own ways.
