@@TravelWithBek I’m visiting friends, I don’t wanna bother them during the day while they are working so I thought I could do a day trip here and there out side the city center. Anything you would recommend an hour outside of the city to do be appreciated? Something I can take a train or a bus would be great, I hear Australia is very expensive. I like your episode on Aussie slang, I’ll have to get the hang of it but I’m sure it will work out. Thanks again.
@@crush42mash6 most places require a car if venturing too far out of Brisbane as the rail network mostly stops in the suburbs. There are plenty of organised day trips from Brisbane to places like Tamborine Mountain, Oreilly’s Rainforest Retreat, Sunshine Coast and there are also Moreton Bay or Brisbane River cruises you can book.
No, I definitely enjoy your suggestions. My friends that I’m visiting are also working so I’m trying to do day trips, so I don’t interfere with their busy family life also. So I figured day trips would be nice to get away and then come back and see them at dinner. Thanks for the ideas for sure. I’m gonna look those up.
@@crush42mash6 there are also some great theme parks about 30-40 mins south of Brisbane worth checking out (Dreamworld, Movieworld, SeaWorld) and if you look back through my videos I have done some at Mt Tamborine, O’Reilly’s and Gold Coast which will give you an idea of what to do there. Hope you have a great trip! :-)
