Hi, you say that you would use the booth monitor input from the amp to control the subs, so if your amp has a filter switch does it make your subs play at between 35-40hz? which I consider perfect for Reggae.
Ok so how do you link 2 amps that dont have xlr only 1/4 " jacks and speakon and normal red and black speaker cable connectors plus i use active powered tops??????
So if I don't have an external crossover, what amp do you recommend to bypass having an external crossover, it just seems like so much equipment to me sorry I'm an amateur at this, THANKS!!
you could also use a split output cable from the mixer to the amps ie 4 1/4 balanced jacks from the xlr mixer outputs these have two xlr conections from mixer to 4 ,1/4 balanced jacks two to each amp then in theory have 4 speakers of each amp if 1000 watts at 4 ohms output off each amp that will give you a massive 2000 watts of power, this is not bridgeing because you are using the one output from the mixer and not connecting the amps together and it would be stereo, not mono as with bridgeing

Could you use master out for one amp and record out for the other amp? or is the record output too low?

buy rcf speaker and sub that alredy have amp inside ,just plug and play

irandixon78 you can buy amplifiers that have settings for subwoofer output like the Yamaha px series amplifiers
