My late Dad told me how when he was about 14 so that would be about 1935,he and all his siblings used to pack in a van and spend the weekend camping in an old army tent they had,at Lulworth Cove. His oldest sister could drive and was allowed to borrow the works van at weekends. However I don't think my Dad can have liked camping that much as years later when he had a family of his own he NEVER suggested a camping holiday! That area is a lovely part of Britain,despite being geographically not that far away I've not been there much at all.
Durdle door is beautiful! It’s definitely on my list to go and see. I was also impressed with how sandy the beach is in Bournemouth. Very different from Brighton beach!
We've just come back from Dorset. We loved it. Durdle door was amazing (steep walk!). It was lovely to see Corfe castle in your video. Bournemouth beach looks stunning. Loved this 🍻
