Volkswagen port matching

I'm port matching a set of stock vw end castings for a used set of ported 40x35 heads. I installed new exhaust guides and did a 3 angle valve job, surface 90.5/92, cut for dual and now match porting for this 2180cc combo. the end castings came out nice and should add to the performance. more info visit LowBugget.com or call the shop 714-639-4284.

Did this on an old Land Rover with it's stock manifold. There was as much as a 5mm step into the head! The bore of the manifold was actually larger than inlet so you can imagine the mess that would make of the flow. Opened up the port in the head and it was really easy with some carbide bits. The car did have a bit more power, not a huge amount but was noticeable.
