The BACnet_AddOn library create by the HVAC Center of Schneider Electric can be downloaded from the next link:

In order to test the BACnet communication of the M172 you can use a trhid party software called YABE.
The software to program the Modicon M172 is EcoStruxure Machine Expert HVAC (former SoMachine HVAC).
The software can be downloaded from our website:

The EcoStruxure Machine Expert HVAC is free but the user will need to register the software.
The user will need an account in our License Portal in order to register the software:
www.se.com/ww/...
In order to program the Modicon M172 you will require a miniUSB cable (TCSXCNAMUM3P or BMXXCAUSBH018) or if you are using the M172P an ethernet cable.

Hello. 2 objects AI and AV were created. The AV object writes the set temperature value, the AI object reads the set value set by the AV object. When adjusting the temperature of an AV object, the set temperature value changes after about 3 to 4 seconds. Could you help with the analysis?

Hello, sir. I'm new to M172. Did exactly the same shown in your video, but i can't find my device on BACnet with Yabe. I also tried to load example project from BACnet Addons library, but still nothing on BACnet. Maybe I'm missing something basic.
Hi there! Have you tried the example from the library on the description? Remember to activate the BACnet port because by default is disabled.
@@LeTomasAHUMADA just tried the example from the description still no communication on BACnet. BIOS Parameter Port_BACnet_IP is set to 47808 or there is anything else I should do to enable it?
My bad. Messed up with IP settings on my laptop. Now everything works fine.

Mr LeTomas, thank You. Are there opportunities for interaction between the TM172 PLC and the Bacnet 3d Device?
I see a lot of documentation about how to implement TM172 as a BACnet data source, but I need to
implement some service within TM172 that will be able to read/write some BACnet objects from the 3d BACnet gateway.
Is it possible? What libs or predefined functions (function blocks) should I use or download?

Hi there! As far as I as know the M172 is only “slave” of BACnet. In your case i will advice to use modbus serial or tcp plus a gateway if possible
Is there a way to connect to a remote PLC using YABE?
Hi there! I have not tried that but i believe if you have a vpn connection to site and enable the ports for BACnet it should work (need to try it).
For remote connection you can use the Secure Connect solution of Schneider or you can also try the Secomea gateways
