Wish I could find out why I keep finishing second. I ask for feedback but they don't take the time to so. I'm battling on, but losing hope.
Just remember, it's not always you. Sometimes a company has to interview people, even if they've already got the person in mind to fill the job, often from their own staff. It's pro forma, and unfair to the other applicants, but they have to do it. Also, if someone came in with the 'perfect' answers as in this video, I might not hire them, as they may not seem genuine. It's easy to be too rehearsed for an interview. Honestly, looking them in the eye, and coming off as personable have always helped me more than anything. Only once in my life have I had an interview where I didn't get the job. And I didn't watch videos like this one to get information on interviews. Know you can do the job, but also be humble enough to know you still have a lot to learn. That attitude helps a lot! Good look on your next interview! You can do it!

For the first question i'd say focus more on his last point since everything else can be on ur resume. u gotta say how ur ideal for the job. this means read the JD and link it to your experience and state how u helped ur previous employer in ways it may help them too :) good luck everyone

@@CareerVidz i went in for an interview. U could tell the guy only interviewed me bc he hired multiple of my coworkers who spoke highly of me. But I didn't get an offer bc of my lack of experience on a niche product. Only two companies manufactur said product.

i work in corporate AV, as a freelancer and have been for 20 years and nobody talks like that ever in interviews. all they care about is if you know the equipment and haveexceptional people skills when under high stress and will always stick out the hard shit. it's all about teamwirk and presentation, and the ability to have pivot plans in place. Just have your shit together.
Most of my interviews last a few minutes max. Then they make some calls and call me back to hire me
