- Return to Youkai Mountain... Again
But this time a new Tengu is introduced to the series! And this time she's blue! I originally wasn't a big fan of her design, but you know the artist among the Touhou community. They know how to make anything work. I honestly also wasn't a big fan of the original theme. ZUN's been using the Elite Lead too much. And on it's own it really does make my ears hurt. I really don't like using it in my videos cause it hurts too much if I don't have some sort of accompaniment with it. So I said, why not add in a bit of a MoF mixed in with a modern touch? And this is what we got. I really like how it turned out. This was actually a lot of fun to make. I extended a certain part as well cause I felt like it ended way too soon. But please, tell me what you guys think!
I started this earlier today and amazingly enough I had a lot of energy to finish it off. Like I said there are some MoF instruments used in this, namely the Double Steel from the Super Quartet, the Bottle vib. from the SD-90, and the St. Vibra from the SD-90. Got rid of the Elite Lead cause I needed to save my ears. That and I felt like it felt too out of place for a Tengu of Youkai Mountain. I'm working on many more projects as well still, Border of Life, Hartmann's Youkai Girl, Night Falls/ Necrofantasia, Faint Dream, Legendary Illusion and I can only guess how many more. Not sure when the next upload will be though! I'll also be starting to stream Genshin too. Speaking of Genshin I'm also gonna start doing Genshin Impact remixes as well. I'm still acquiring the proper VSTs that have the quality I'm looking for. I'll keep you guys updated though! Feel free to leave any Touhou/ Genshin related requests below and I'll let you know if they interest me! Peace peace!

Even when you use the older soundfont, the drum use just makes the newer games music easily distinguishable from older game music
This Mix is very good. I liked the repetition you did in a section of the theme, it was cool like that!
I'm not sure I liked the high-pitched Zunpets that were added in 1:18, precisely because they're high. But I think I liked it, not least because they benefit from the progression and harmony of the song, announcing that the next snippet of the song is coming.
I think the instruments from the original are prettier, but the good thing about these is that they're more distinguishable, so I can hear some background instruments more clearly.
Such an improvement over the original! I'm looking forward to your other projects, especially to Faint Dream.
