Wow this is great, my grandsons are of mixed heritage. I'm blown away, maybe my ignorance led me to believe that Mexicans really didn't have alot of love for the melanin blessed in their country. I am from Los Angeles, and now live in San Antonio, Texas, and a lot of Hispanics, especially here in Tejas are very prejudiced against their darker brethren. The comments I see here gives me a totally different impression. Yes my grandbabies, Hispanic relatives are very loving, just didn't think this was the general consensus. Feeling happy at the love expressed here.
That’s pretty cool he is half Mexican and is proud of it. It’s actually pretty cool thy he learned about Mexican culture and speaks Spanish. I think anyone who is Mexican general has to know about the culture and has to speak the language to connect with people. Their was another guy actually he was a 49niners player except he was half black and half white but grew up in Mexico. What’s cool about these guys for me personally is that they grew up in southern Mexico which is more accurate of Mexican culture. No offense to the Mexicans in the north but they are a bit more different from people in the central and southern parts Mexico.
True. Many people don't understand that Mexico is also divided culturally but the US love to show the worst parts of any other country that's not fully white.
Anthony M they may look different but actually Mexicans from the north are more proud of their culture believe it or not... for instance Mexicans from the north listen more rancheras y Banda and Mexicans from the south like Mexico City they listen and dance more salsa, cumbia etc.
Its different culturally. Mexicans from the north really claim their state before their nationality. Really Mexico should be 2 countries. Everything jalisco down 1 and jalisco up another. Us northern mexicans are very proud of our heritage and land. Very different from your southern mexico. It is more alike to our European ancestors with our native influence. Your southern mexican heritage is strictly native based.
To the 34 haters. Here is a young man who made it through the struggle of being raised by A STRONG SINGLE MEXICAN WOMEN. Who showed her son the only culture she knew. JUST MAYBE IF THE FATHER WAS AROUND he would of had a chance to learn about both of his GREAT cultures, but that isn't the case. So your mad because he didn't mention his other half. WHY! You are a product of your environment and he identifies himself as a Mexican. I'm sure he knows what he is and respects it, but at the same time he was raised with Mexicans. So stop hating!
Jose Lopez The hate is real and for what? Just because we Mexicans. We don’t bow down we just go grab the strap. That’s why blacks hate people who don’t follow there rules. Lol sensitive hos

An example of how mixing with African-Americans is actually more advantageous to others. I guarantee he would not be this athletic or even in the NFL if it wasn’t for his being half Black. It’s good his mom taught him about his Mexican roots, I just hope she exposed him to his African-American / Black roots as well.

@@nobetter7747 its does makes sense cause a Joe has more chances and more open doors than a Jose even tho Jose has better skills (discrimination) it's everywhere especially in those places where there's hardly any Mexicans like Davis.
@Leo Leon That's Biblical too, but he is still a Jake either way.
Power to you my brother you just gave me another chance to love my Charger's even though there not in S.D. no more ,I would never have imagine this was your background mom's thought you good never forget your root's background & stay humble.👍

And come back to Mexico and help and inspire more kids to have goals and see for their own eyes that be humble, respectful, grateful, and do more for others, helping and inspiring is more in life... ♥️♥️♥️

False
@ReturnoftheBrotha wait, what? Did you know that the Aztecs and Mayans were dark complected just like the native Americans and that was way before the Europeans came here with the slaves dumb dumb...
He was my classmate in high school I miss him so much. We used to play so much soccer during lunch time.
A TRUE UNDERDOG STORY
Christmas time in Mexico are so different and fun.
I came for the comments, and they did not disappoint. 🍿
I hope to meet this man some day. He brings great pride to all hispanics, especially those of us who follow the NFL.
Wow so happy for him and his mom... God bless them
Bien Michael Davis, por querer,,a los mexicanos
Pancho Villa s from the North and he would disagreep
Its different culturally. Mexicans from the north really claim their state before their nationality. Really Mexico should be 2 countries. Everything jalisco down 1 and jalisco up another. Us northern mexicans are very proud of our heritage and land. Very different from your southern mexico. It is more alike to our European ancestors with our native influence. Your southern mexican heritage is strictly native based.
Many successful half-Mexicans even the new leader of the Alt-right is half-Mexican.
Where’s the dad? I hate it when single moms give the child the last name of the absentee father.
Her racist parents probably ran him off.
Blacks are famous for abandoning their children, I doubt the parents scared him away.
@@josemezatorrez like el chavo used to say " pa que te digo que no , si si " lol
Cagon415 what a cop out, blaming parental responsibility on ridiculous conspiracy theories. 😂
Unfortunately, having a Latino last name may make things more complicated for a kid who has it rough already ..
Good for you young man ejemplo de seguir
Good heart, God Bless you and all your family Michael! Congratulations.

@Leo Leon HUH??? 😭😭😭😭😭
I support any man that can make
Something of him self let alone in the NFL as a Mexican American.
The Man is Black American & Mexican Decent. BLACK & HISPANIC IS HIS RACE ,& AMERICAN IS HIS NATIONALITY.He did not come from Mexico. HE VISITED THERE & HE LOVES IT. MANY OF US DO THAT .& ALSO TEACH OUR KIDS SPANISH OR OUR OR A 2ND LANGUAGE AS INFANTS & TODDLERS
Stop trying to give Mexicans credit. He's not short with no muscles! He's an athletic black man( who happens to have a Mexican mom). He's not a midget!!
@@gypsy10 you black people are so racist
An example of how mixing with African-Americans is actually more advantageous to others. I guarantee he would not be this athletic or even in the NFL if it wasn’t for his being half Black. It’s good his mom taught him about his Mexican roots, I just hope she exposed him to his African-American / Black roots as well.
What a lovely guy you can tell he was raised by a good mother not just because she's from Mexico but because she had to be mom and dad for this young boy grew up to be what seems like a really nice humble person 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
