This season has nice content, but the insane nitro fist damage and cars being overpowered actually makes it so much worse. Last season was unbalanced, but it was still possible to beat someone with the mythics. Now you have to beat someone with a 2,000 hp car with a rocket launcher and overpowered medallions.
Sucks bro I legit spent all last season grinding my mechanics since I haven’t played in a few years, and now it feels useless that I even wasted that time, since there’s not really normal build and gun fight anymore

I feel like in pubs they should keep all this crazy and fun stuff but in ranked it should be more competitive with less of the insane meta and more of a skilled meta, plus the casuals who love the op meta dont even play ranked most of the time as they like thenmore simplistic less stressful game. Whomever designed this season doesn't play the game seriously. All this nonsense in pubs I can sort of understand but in Ranked and above? No thanks. Even my boys don't like the season and wont play until a serious balance patch has been applied.
If ever there was a need for a separate loot pool for comp/rank it’s this season. This season was made for new, low skill players and kids under 13. It’s horrible for comp players trying to grind to make it into the top 10 teams in fncs to qualify for lan.

I seriously can't play ranked right now. its almost impossible to get a kill with everyone in a supercar. its completely uinskillful and I'm reluctant to stoop to their level.
Nitro is like a heisted breacher shotgun mixed with any other weapon (if you plan to phase in), you immediately break walls and you can use any other weapon
for boom bolt, there is a prefire mechanic that you can do that is very powerful, and it has been tested by martoz. obviously, its not as good as the other two items, buti find it underrated.

At least for ranked, my observations are... Brutal Beachhead is the best drop spot because it has the best car. Your team should carry repair torches and bubbles to ensure your car never breaks. You should never leave your car. If you lose your car use fists to try and hide in a tree. I have consistently been having 40+ person 5-tick circles in ranked ZB squads. Everyone i have ran into so far who is already in Unreal or Champion has been in a mythic car, so clearly a successful strategy.
There are those that like to have box fights and constantly box up. There are those that don't like box fights and find it annoying. The items that take down the builds is a way to prevent the constant building. It makes it easier to take down and reduces game times. Creating a quicker turnaround of the lobby.

Building is NOT impossible, it's just more difficult. Epic is doing this, not me. They added these features. You are projecting your aggression in the wrong direction/barking up the wrong tree. They are catering to the ones that don't like builds lasting too long for the sake of building and not fighting. Think outside of your comfort zone...
