I was in Guatemala and the arcades was there when I was kid that was awesome and the neo geo hyper 64 wast the best I would like a port on the new sistems !
Took me a minute to realize the gameplay was not a stylistic intro to a video essay about Samurai Shodown, but instead, the video.
This game was badass back when it came out. I was 12 and remember going to La Retama a Mexican restaurant in Oak Cliff to play it with my friends Edwin, Josh and Joey. Man the memories Im looking to getting the new version.

I actually really loved the idea of SamSho Sen, wish they decide on a fresh new 3D game with a good combat system soon, and with the SAME or BETTER bloody and gory ideas as the original

There's 2 games with almost the same name. But beind S.S Warrios Rage to ps1 ande o S.S 64: Warriors rage only for Neo Geo arcade.

Your video is missing the Hyper 64 titles (Samsho 64 and Warriors Rage). What you're showing is Warriors Rage 2, which was a PS1 exclusive and never in arcades.
Samurai Shodown 2019 is also going to Xbox One and Switch.
SS4 was my favorite, but they were all fantastic.

it's as closest as you can get to mainstream Japanese Mortal Kombat - especially the Samurai Shodown V Special, which has fatalities.
In my opinion, Samsho IV is where is started being actually gory. The blood in I-III is weak. V Special is where it gets legit.

Samsho IV was the last game before SNKs bankrupcy, and from there it was all down hill. The playmore era was sad times for all SNK-fans. But now in 2019 it seems the old SNK is back!

I only did not like the playstations one the others are good in the period of their times. I liked most 2019 and also Samsho 5 Special(fatalities&combos). And by the way Nintendo 64s is Missing on this video.

SamSho 6 graphs and roster are amazing. They should have relased a SamSho 6 "Special" with a completely revised gameplay, more similar to previous games. This game was sucha a wasted potential.

Samsho is all about footsies and huge damage punishes. Not so much combo strings.
