hey friend! agree w you about the Ember Tetras. Fabulous inexpensive nano fish. As for Blixa Japanica I have tremendous luck with this plant. They love my conditions I guess :)
I love the look oh the Blyxa. I’m just trying to get some to show up in one piece. Both theme I ordered some, it got here looking like cooked spinach. Maybe just bad shipping? ~Ron
Hi, greetings from Poland ! I really enjoy to watch your tanks and your comments. What substrate and filtration do you usually use f.eg in the swordtail tank ?
@@arturproc7047 hello Artur! And welcome. There’s a small amount of pond soil mixed with a fine gravel then covered with sand and a bit of fine, decorative gravel. I got the idea from @MDFishtanks. There’s a large hang on back filter with just filter floss in it as well as a large sponge filter. I hope that helps. Cheers! ~Ron
Good tour thanks Ron ,your tanks are great i know very little about fish but they certainly add life an colour to the aquarium i will get more fish for my pond but i must get ones that won't eat frog eggs, will go through your other uploads in time good day to you ,🇦🇺🦘
@@brianfarrawell3312 thank you much, Brian! I haven’t even scratched the surface. Fish keeping has been a constant learning experience for me as well. A pond sounds like great fun. But 120F summers make it a challenge. I’m guessing there are ways to deal with that. Tanks for lookin’! Cheers, Mate! ~ Ron
@@garageaquatics2023 Yes Ron today is the last day of winter an 37.3 C already not looking forward to summer, I'm hopeful positioning in partial shade an nearly 2 ft in the ground will insulate from the extremes we shall see, keep well 🇦🇺🦘
I like that you call them "plecosauruses", haha! They really are dinosaurs...

Great video Ron 👍👍👍
@@SkullAquatics thank you, Curtis🙏👍❗️🇺🇸
You can tell your horticultural background. Many times you approach a tank, you start with telling us about the plants first. 😊
Old habits? 🙂
Great video 🤘
