Chapel Pill is a fictitious little Forest of Dean coal exporting port on the upper reaches of the Bristol Channel. The date is 1922 and, in the euphoria of the short lived boom after the First World War, the port is busy
Thue buildings and track are all scratchbuilt, as are the boat and ship models. The Lily Ann and the Erith are based on photographs of vessels used by the Weston Clevedon and Portishead Light Railway around this time.
The rolling stock uses a variety of kits and commercial chassis, often with some modification.

Very nice - pity about the Hand of God with the coal loader.
