Housing Division Meeting - December 7, 2023

Dialogue with Celia Carpentier, Michelle Daniels, and Maren Trochmann with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in the Housing Voucher Management and Operations Division
Discuss our mutual interest in addressing and identifying methods to intervene and prevent youth in our communities from becoming homeless and how to collaborate with Public Child Welfare Agencies to determine the best practices for providing housing support for youth in foster care. 
The HUD team will share beneficial insight pertaining to Foster Youth to Independence Initiative (FYI) and Family Unification Program (FUP), how the funding can be obtained and utilized, and PHAS that are successfully utilizing the program.
