Currently I use canva but I want to learn how to create social media content using illustrator and photoshoot. I would love to see this in depth too ! I can’t wait until you launch a course. Please include content creationnnn in there!

My first course I will be bring out this summer will be more focused on the systems and processes of running a design business- things like contracts, invoices, how to present work to the client etc, but in the future I will for sure do one on content creation!

A video series of you creating different assets for social media/brand on Canva would be awesome. Maybe a video teaching how to decide on colors for a brand or how to start having a consistent familiar look. Im sure a lot of businesses and brands are sort of all over the place. They just create what feels right, but miss out on using a set of colors, layouts etc that create familiarity.

Hi! I really appreciate your videos, so informative and well executed!! I'd love to see some more indepth tutorials covering different aspects of actually using the software tools. As a beginner in the field having a go to place to source that information in an inspiring format would be incredibly helpful and I think a lot of people (myself included) would be willing to pay for a course like that if you made one!!

Thank you for your kind words Mayara! I get my textures from Envato and use the transparency panel to get my desired look! You can try out different options like hard light or multiply and it creates a really cool overlay!

Another insightful video from you Abi. Thanks for this one❤ I was wondering do you also provide brand strategy or just brand identity? Is it necessary for a designer who does brand identity to venture into strategy part as well? And how to actually go about that process?
Hey Navya, thank you so much - glad you enjoyed the video!!
I provide both brand strategy and brand identity design. To create a strong brand identity there needs to be foundations first, which is where the brand strategy comes in. Once you have researched into competitors, target audience, the brand voice and lots more it clarifies who you are creating the brand identity for along with finding a gap in the market for the client to fill! I've also found doing the brand strategy stage creates fewer revisions in the future when designing the brand identity as the design is backed up by the strategy!
I think knowing the basics of brand strategy is crucial for any brand designer because it can help your client as well as helping you deliver the best results! I'm actually currently working on a course that will go over every single step of the client and design/strategy process, so this would definitely help!💛

Yes, my partner does all of the editing and production of the youtube channel! My videos wouldn't be great without him haha! It's something we've thought about doing, so this is useful to know!💛
