Since getting laid off 4 years ago, I now don't know what to do with my business, need to find a part time job to pay the bills, and we need to sell our house to downsize/help with expenses. It's all so much and so heavy, and has been going on for so long. All of this has brought me so close to Him, and deep down I have peace about our situation, knowing I'm doing what He wants me to be doing, and that He's got this. I appreciate John's sermons so much, I can't thank "Desiring God" enough.
Update - one of my clients for my business offered me a job in a totally new field for me - architecture. I didn't even have to interview or put together a resume. I wasn't even looking for a job, was just struggling with my business. It just came to me, like God was saying, ok, enough of that, here's my plan for you.

I do believe in predestination through God's foreknowledge which stands true without violating the freewill of the creation, but it's not the same view of Calvin. And, though we have some differences of perspective on scriptures, I totally agree with you on most of your teachings of the scriptures. You are a true blessing to the body of Christ. Love and respect to you my brother.
God is doing a great work in Northern California. Don't lose help. Don't be afraid. I gave my last 20 years to the enemy and went back and forth living like a demon. God still loves us regardless. Don't let the enemy tell you that you can't ever go back. The devil is going to suffer for eternity. He's jealous of you because you don't have to go like he does. I have so many issues and so much guilt, but the Lord is still there. He's good, loving, and if you wait and keep sinning He will be hard to hear. I am a testimony to the love of God. I am in the craziest battle against the powers of this world. The closer we get to the end, the devil is going to do more to deceive us. Don't believe a thing he says. He hates you. Stop sinning.. At first I thought how can this be that there's a God that cared for me and paid my price instead of me. This sinless lamb a sacrifice to set me free from death, sin and enquity. That day was tragedy and the most beautiful moment in history. The blessed hope. In the tomb you were placed, and there you lay until that day the stone was rolled away. No greater time was ever seen as the day you set the captives free, you rose again so all could see redemtions power and victory. Oh king of kings and Lord of Lords, who could have seem a baby born a nazarine, the son of God born in a barn a bed of straw and nothing more. But as this story did unfold the forfulment of the prophets old the one who walked the streets of gold has come to us that we may have the victory.
Tears fill my eyes, by being reminded of how undeserving of the fact that God Loves Me. I should have been wiped from this earth by now. The time I have followed my own pursuits instead of His, and he stills comeback and his patience of Me. It's Unbelievable. It's really hard to believe. Yet it pains me that he Loves me and I'm so Undeserving man. This Kind of Love was Unbeknownst to me till this moment.

God recently revealed my special gift and it feels urgent but I feel like I just need to wait and pay attention and I have become gratefully obsessed with reading The Greatest Book and and God led me to Desiring God and just thank you God for answering my deepest question through Pastor Piper in Jesus name....
