I'm excited to listen to this podcast! I am in a season of singleness and I'm unsure if God is calling me to marriage, although at this time I do desire marriage. I am so grateful to see lives of singleness being celebrated! As they should! God bless

Interview was powerful.. 👏 society makes marriage seem like it is a must but really it is not. We need to normalize that more. It is a blessing to be single or married, there is joy in either or .

    A lifetime of choices...
    God honors our choices..
    Pain can take you out..
Definitely hits all the spots for me. And though I haven't gotten to live with a father, I agree time and time again, God is faithful.

So its God's redirection. Lesson learnt ! Trust God and his redirections and your instincts. In a long time, this is the first of the video which made so much sense. More so, it teaches to trust God's will

This was absolutely amazing and filled with so much wisdom. Exactly what I needed to learn! I’m so glad God led me to listen to this!
A question I would love to ask her is how do you handle the feelings of jealousy and missing out on a life of marriage (or in my case missing out on a happy marriage, because I am divorced)? How do you manage the feelings when dreams aren’t realized and it’s a very long wait for any possible miracle of dreams fulfilled?

A wonderful role model in the struggle with singleness as a leader in the church. Thank you Pastor Lindsay! What i am wondering about: You argued with the fulfillment of Jesus instead of a fulfillment in a married partner and in some part i agree to it. If there is no relationship and fulfillment in God it can't be completed in marriage. But there is another part: When we read about the creation of men and women in Genesis we read about a time of perfect relationship of men with God (in the garden). And in this time of no boundary, of perfect relationship and fulfillment with God there is something missing for Adam. It turns out there is a counterpart missing which fills some place God seems not to fill. By purpose. In creation. So is it really possible to become this one person without a partner - just in relationship with God or is the relationship with the father enough to fill out the lack (or dress the wound) such a life still contains?

You can still struggle with lust even if you get married
