Blade of Fury is one of my favorite chop sockey films. I never say the main actor before and regrettably don't recall ever seeing him again, but it's a good example why I always loved the fight scenes of Sammo Hung far more than I ever did of Yuen Wo Ping or Jackie Chan. Both are great at what they do, but Sammo's choreography, however fanciful, still had a hard, tough gritty realism to them that Yuen and Chan's just didn't. Which is why he was a favorite of Bruce Lee as well. The characters in Hung's films are also more fleshed out too and that makes a huge difference in making the movie interesting as well. But this one was a truly great film in the genre and never got the attention it should have.
cuz this movie got a commercial blow in both mainland and HongKong, the lead actor was from MengGu province and cuz of the failure in office box, he didn’t land himself in this industry in HK , afterwards he mainly activated in TV series produced in mainland.
