Me and the wife got the uni’s on Sunday I like the clear blue but not the pink so I swapped her purple front for my pink one. Looks so nice now purple with clear blue back. I’ve order a sheet of carbon fibre printed vinyl so I’m going to cut myself a inlay for the front. Going to be epic.
Even with the Uni its not that difficult. No brain power involved. If you have a difficulty in doing simple tasks like shown in the video then you might want to sit down and analyze how much of a failure you are. @@PrayashLand
@@chrisb3976 the problem is that all of the methods risk breaking a $50 device. Idk if $50 is just whatever to you but not everyone wants to just waste that. They by now should have American releases that have changeable faceplates.
I hope to see a US seller soon! I also would be sooo down to partner with someone in the US that can do plastic molds. The case on this feels soooo cheap. I can build a website and do the marketing, if I could find someone that can actually create the cases, I could do everything else.
fuck yes!!!! thank you so much for this!!!! been trying to get the screws out but failed. as a result im resenting my tama and now that ive changed it i love my tama even more now!! THANK YOU
Use the knife on the edge of the clear plastic to just lift it up then quickly jam a credit card or toothpick into the gap. its a bit easier if you have a friend ready with the credit card. (forgot to mention that in the vid) Then work it around to pop the clear plastic off. Don't use the knife as it will scratch. Some tamas are pretty loose and you can use suction cup or hot glue method. Some are really stuck and hard to take off like mine and by the sounds of, it your too.
My fellow Tamagotchi anime fans! Will you help me get Bandai Namco to dub the rest of the Tamagotchi anime series (2009-2015) so far from episode 27 to episode 271 aka episode 50 of Go-Go Tamagotchi in English? Help a fellow Tamagotchi fan out.
That easily scratches this faceplate. I would never use a sharp object. The glue stick method or a good suction cup to just pull it right off works very well. 🙏🏼🤍
Yes, you do have to be careful not to scratch the screen. For me the suction cup didn't work and I didn't want to risk melting the screen with hot glue so I shared an alternative method. Its up to the individual to decide which they are most comfortable with.
@@jacobwonder6735 You need a steady hand and patience. I have done the knife method and suction cup method. With the suction cup method, as I was pulling up, I accidentally bent one of the tabs that hold the cover in place. The knife worked better for me but I think it's because I have a lot of experience with it for crafting.
@@jacobwonder6735 the knife should only lift the clear plastic to create a gap for the orange tool or credit card to be slipped in. Sorry to hear you scratched your tama.

Update?
Why would they even release a tamagotchi who’s whole thing is “being unique” and then not allow for changing face plates…. Like ??
But you can change it
@@jollyrancherchick yeah by going out of your way to. I’m talking about a built in feature to change it like the Tama-Go or the 4U

The design of the shell is extremely ugly

I scratched my case the moment I tried this.. and then I did it again on the other side. Definitely gonna try a suction cup 😅
