The tagline "It's not like a regular musical, it's a cool musical" reminds me of another show you're well known for documenting, it was a bit of a costly mistake...

It’s actually just a reference to Regina’s mom 😂 “I’m not a regular mom, I’m a CoOl MoM”
Except that in the case of MG it’s a reference to a line from the movie.
At least in this case, it's ironic.

According to the creative team behind Mean Girls there will be new jokes, new songs and returning favourites (Sexy, Someone Gets Hurt, Revenge Party, World Burn, I’d Rather Be Me and I See Stars).
P.S. I think you and Ellie Talks Theatre would make a pretty good Damian and Janis respectively!
For the record QR works flawlessly. The tour did change a lot of minor things but only one bigger thing so I think a lot of those will transfer to this version & you may even get a few more tweaks. Quite interested to see how your run is casted but bound to be a fun time so excited for everyone who gets to go see it.

To be honest I like to see new people in this show that’s recently graduated in drama schools.
I wouldnt be shocked if they had Renee Rapp open the show because she's left Sex Lives of College Girls and it would be good exposure for her music career in the UK (plus a West End credit and eligibility for Oliviers since she's opening the show)

Do we think there will an Elphie- Janis pipeline? Lindsay Heather Pearce and Mary Kate Morissey? Potentially a Lucie Jones? I think Jodie could still pull off a Regina.

Oh, no... what's going to happen when the BARBIE movie is turned into a stage musical, as inevitably it will be? The all-pink all-the-time design scheme has now been taken by M-GIRLS. Oh, the horror! I hated MEAN GIRLS on Broadway - sorry - and never understood how it lasted as long as it did. What sort of "revisions" did they do for the US tour, which are now coming to the West End? It might matter if I had even the slightest interest in the show which, sadly, I do not. Enjoy it, if you can... it's just not for me.
