Look Our kick have frequency range from 32 hz to 100 hz majority of the time and some of melody also lying inbetween the frequency range of our kick, So to prevent the clash between the kick and melody we sidechain and what sidechain does is it automatically pull down the level of melody whenever the kick hits.
Because we added limiter on it so when ever low frequency element( kick or hard 808 etc) hit, the limiter detect the frequencies and push down the mid and high frequencies at the same time. You can also use compressor instead of limiter for more precise sidechain.
Pretty interesting i feel like you lost a lot of your volume for the melody though. It didnt properly raise inbetween the kicks. Your levels hinestly sounded better before you did all of that imo
Melody with respect to the kick, we basically use " with respect to " in term that somthing is do or doing thing with respect to time. Being a science student is sucks something 😵💫 sorry if did not understand what I mean to in video.
Nice fact. If you use your drum rack for your drums. You can route your kick to a seperate fx channel bij klikking on seq on the volume side of de the kick and klik on aux. Then create fx and boom there is you kick sound appart from the rest of the drum. Bit stil use it with the others.
I’m sorry but when I was making this video I don’t have earphones. I just wanted to show you guys the process because you can do mix at your own because you are not going use the same kick sample that I use.
This would be allot better if the threshould would drop even further. Especially for the lofi packs. Allot of those instruments are so quite. I have to increase the gain before i even start mixing in the FX
Awesome work bro. But it's also good to say that COMPRESSOR works better than a LIMITER when used to sidechain.
Yes you are right because the compressor does it more precisely than limiter. But I prefer using limiter most of the time.
How do i do this?
Very underrated creator! Thank you!!
You’re welcome
Helpful as always 🤝
Thanks brother
Fucking genius, thank you
Tutorial is Helpful but ❤ 2:51 😂
🤣🤣
Sidecahin and Autoduck is the same?
Both are different but autoduck can work like sidechain if we mix.
Sir i just want to know what is the importance of side chaining melody from the drums or beat

@@Wahidzrmusic Waow 🤯 thank you sir. youtuber like you is like a modern teacher 🙏A
Sending kick to sidechain track itself? How it that work?

❤❤ great 👍 bro
Bro create how to make old school hip hop beat bro i contacted in your insta but you not replied
Request in query
Can You Make a Kick + 808 SideChain Tutorial Please
For kick + 808 I’ll suggest you to do the old level automation method for sidechain.

NGl second one hurts my ears, mix on kick is too much
I’m sorry but when I was making this video I don’t have earphones. I just wanted to show you guys the process because you can do mix at your own because you are not going use the same kick sample that I use.
Cool

Different sounds with different kick need different thresholds. Whenever you watch my tutorials, listen carefully what I’m saying. Thank you
@@Wahidzrmusic I've listened. But it drops to about 75% that's not good for much. Especially when your mixing for -13 lufs and whatnot.
Yes and that’s why I told in video that mix the threshold as per your need.
@@Wahidzrmusic there is no per need when everything is below the lowest threshold. Lmao
Yes it’s true
BRO CAN YOU SEE THAT THE MAIN SAMPLE ES LOW IN VOLUME THINK BRO DONT BE STUPIT
Do what I show and you’ll get to know. Be smart
