No doubt. I've listened to DG before and this is exactly what's happening here. Jeff Hornacek, really? No, that's what Doug Gottlieb thought he himself would be like in the league, but didn't make it and is simply jealous of Steph Curry. He's never been a Curry fan. If Ray "Jesus Shuttlesworth" Allen and Reggie Miller are amazed, shocked, and awed by the shooting expertise of Steph Curry, then DG needs to just shut up and accept it! assuming Curry can reach 5,000 3pts made before he retires, it would take someone to play 12.5 yrs and making 400 3pts made per season.. or if 400 is too high, if someone makes 300 3pts per season, then he has to last 16.6 years.. the thing with Curry is his accuracy is crazy - somewhere around 42%.. if someone later on maintains an accuracy of 50% or higher, and make 300 to 400 3pts a season, then, yes, hey can break 5,000 3pts made..

I'd take God given shooting touch over God given handles though. I'll take safe, steady, technical handles over flashy handles anyday. Steph has had a tendency to get careless with the ball. With that being said, Kyrie does not turnover the ball much, and is the most artistic ball handler I have seen since Isiah Thomas. His control is uncanny, I would say he is the greatest ball handler I've ever seen in terms of style, how he uses his handle to create his shot, and protecting the rock. His career turnovers per game is only 2.6, MJ's was 2.7, that's very impressive considering how often he has the ball.

I genuinely do not think his record will be broken, if he plays 4-5 years more. He can easily put it at 5k makes and that might be up there with some of wilt’s. Steph has natural ability, on top of years of practice and the greenest light to shoot at will. And yes he’s changed the game and influenced players to shoot like him. Guess what, so did kobe and there still aint going to be another him and his 81 point game.

  • @QuestionEverything562

The greatest shooter of all-time before Curry came along and took that title was Larry Jo Bird, like by far. Ray Allen and Reggie Miller were better 3 ball shooters than Larry just out of sheer volume, but Larry was an overall much better shooter from the entire field. Larry could create his own jumpers with his patented step-back jab jumper from the high post, a shot he often called for the win to his defenders' faces as time ticked down. Larry Bird is the ultimate clutch jump shot maker of all-time, even over MJ. I never considered Ray or Reggie the greatest shooters of all-time. Between the two of them, they only have a single three point contest win, Larry has three, and won all of them in a row. I'd take Larry to make a big three over Curry anyday. I do think Steph Curry is the greatest shooter of all-time Curry has the efficiency and consistency with the high volume from three, that separates him from the rest.
