I think my favorite thing about this video is seeing the ctowd not engage physically, but mentally with the song. Though they don't appear as receptive as most Switchfoot fans are, they're feeling the weight of the words of the song

Why does't this guy quote any scripture? Ashamed or just to plain proud?,or is going against his record contract?
Because its more about just quoting scripture, is the only way to have a relationship with God or show that you do is by quoting scripture? I hope its more than that....it has to be and Im glad for his music that has been a blessing in my life and many others, he chooses to use the gift he has to reach out to a different crowd...Jesus reached out to the poor, the sick, the lost. Switch foot has very unique opportunities by having some songs pouring their hearts out unto God and saying how broken they are and how we need to run to God, and then they have some straight up awesome rock songs about life experiences. If he was ashamed he wouldnt be singing this song here in the first place, and i highly doubt he is to proud.
