@@dronefishingadventuresnz if I was still up north I would hit you up to come along for a Mission !!! Im way down south . I have plenty of Blue cod spots . Have you caught any Tuna using the drone ?
Guys, I see that you are frequently fishing in rocky places. Can you please explain how you have set up the rig as it appears to be different to Paul Barnes' standard rig. Thanks... Chris
Hey Chris. Yes our rig is slightly different to the Paul Barnes rig. We bought bulk in mainline, trace line, crimps, hooks etc...they are very easy to make up and we purposely make them different for either sand or rocky areas. Our rock rig is pretty much tied straight onto a swivel with a uni knot, then crimped spacings along the 9m mainline, to a homemade drone clip using another uni knot. We usually do 3 hooks over rocky areas...cheers
@@dronefishingadventuresnz On one of your upcoming videos can you show your rig in depth? I often lose my rig when it catches on a snag when retrieving it. Much appreciated.. Chris
Cool vids guys awesome to watch. Iv been thinking about buying one of the AEE condor fishing drones I'm guessing you guys would vouch for them but are they easy to use and calibrate?
Hi Neville. Yep they are really easy to use. Calibration takes 2mins and flying the drone is easy, I would recommend practicing at a park first so you get the hang of it
Well boys I brought one and it turned up on a Friday was all excited when I got home from work and seen it then it pissed down the whole wknd lmao so haven't managed to use it yet but will the first chance I get
Good stuff mate. Yep weather been pretty shocking over winter, we are hoping to get out again in August…any questions on the drone at all just sing out
Hey guys those circle hooks that come with the drone that have the bits off wire off the back of them do you use those or do you just make your own traces??
We use them, if not available or too expensive just make your own. We have made our own in the past and they work fine. I would highly recommend the target hooks that come with they pack
@@dronefishingadventuresnz hey guys just another silly random question. With the AEE is it normal for the numbers on the controller to turn red when ever it's out past 500 meters???
Very nice way of fishing mate, might consider to do the same? You getting tangles?
Nah no tangles
Great fishing bro, May I know what kind of drone you're using?
AEE CONDOR from Pauls fishing systems
Thanks bro.
You beauty !!!! Where abouts are you Fella based ?
The Naki

Sweet! Nothing like fighting a fish from a distance haha, nice video guys! Keep it up 🎣💤💤💤
Yep it's a bit of hard work mate, but very rewarding
What release method that you use?
I apply Newtons 3rd law of motion when releasing the baits. Simple as that
@@dronefishingadventuresnz you use power grips relese clip?
@@sahruladha3023 What’s that?
@@dronefishingadventuresnz its lclip that hold line, after get some tension, the line will relese from that clip
@@sahruladha3023 I don’t use that. The drone I use has a release built in to it already. www.fishingtacklesale.co.nz/category/223537

Awesome liking the footage guys.just got in from a drone fish .only sharks and red cod today
Awesome mate. Cheers. Must still be colder water where you are?
Yep kapiti .in the thai curry they go.allgood
Snaps not far away
Sounds good. You should do well from November onwards down there
Shit I completely for got to go through the calibrate step and the condor still come back home cool as
Missed the most important part haha, its pretty sweet but we re calibrate most casts for extra security
Can you not just bring home manually, or is it too far out? Appreciate your answers!
It is preferred to calibrate. if you do a long cast, you cant really see it and know where it is going. We always calibrate before flying
I’ve just got one of these and wondering is it necessary to calibrate the drone?
Yes it is so it knows where home is
